well I've done many glock conversions and seen many and with a good aftermarket barrel and mag you can reliably shoot a converted glock.....with the exception of the 10mm and 45 glock they are all basicly the same and converting from 40 down is okay.... I will say that these conversions may only work with 3rd Gen blocks i got no exp with early glock models or the current 4th Gen....and stock glock barrels do seem to cause extraction problems but good aftermarket barrels work great.....but most glock parts are interchangeable from the g17-g22
I'm not saying they turn into a jam-0-matic with just the barrel and magazine swap, but they will never be as reliable as a factory built Glock 9mm pistol without the other parts. The only conversion that is 100% compatible with just a barrel and mag swap is going from .40 S&W to 357 SIG, all others require additional parts to make it run 100%. Just saying if I was relying upon said weapon, I'd be damned sure to change the other parts.
