Thank you! It sure is bright. I put it next to all my other GEC's and it sure does stand out.

Thank you. I knew that no body else would want the same thing. Lol. I'll keep thoughts of the east coast out of my snow dance ;)

Thank you! Once in awhile we get dumped on and of course it paralyzes D.C.

A couple of Stallions showed up today

and another Mustang...

I bought the Autumn Leaf Mustang with the intention of dyeing it. I love the jigging, but the original colors just aren't very appealing to me.

Wow! Quite a stable you have going there. Suggestion. Carry the AL jigged for a week and worry it. Mine got a little darker on the high spots and more subtle.

My 2016 AAPK Club Knife in Antique Green Jig Bone arrived this past Saturday, it's a GEC 748116. OH

Nice AAPK knives guys. I really like the jigging and the colors on those

Congrats on your Yellow Rose Shock !!!

Harry

Thank you Harry!. I'm very happy to have it.

Great stable of knives you have MerryMadMonk. That Cocobolo is really nice. That would be my next choice of the 74's available. I like the grain structure on that one.

Bummer on your ebony rbeggs. I agree with ya on those yellowish spots. At least you have the right attitude and it will be a work horse or a great gift

Another fine Batch out of a run for you Al !!!
As an aside , How many Yellow Roses for you now ????
What happened to the red bricks for the background ??

Harry

Thanks, Chris and GE and Harry!

Harry, including this run, there have been 32 runs since 2009. I have 18. There were 10 runs in 2010, alone... but I only have one from that year. Like looking for hen's teeth!

No Yellow Roses were made in 2016. First time they've skipped a year since the initial run. Ya just never know with GEC :)

Red bricks still around, but wet and muddy!

Thanks for that information Al . I did not think there would have been that many runs .

Harry

I see the jigged bone photo on gec site of the stallion. It's an unusual pattern for sure. And looks like just a black or Greyish color. Different but I need better pics to decide for sure. Initial thought from me is "eh, it's ok".

Can't wait to see dealer photos once it shows up.

Agree with you on the unusual pattern comment . I would be very hard pressed to call that " Jigged Bone " . I do not dis-like it though .

Man, I really like the pics of the new #74. Very different, but really pretty. I hope the front page pics are correct and that there is no etch and has the unpolished blade. I think it will be a popular knife for collectors and for users. I'll be getting one for sure. I'm really loving the #74's with the clip blade.

Well after Usps taking my Stallion for a ride across the country on a detour .

Wow I'm really impressed with this one . Great pull , nice snap , perfect Blade centering . Walk and talk is outstanding . I'm really liking the cocobolo's beautiful grain and coloring . Being able to pinch open even though not needed it's a added bonus .
Worth the wait no doubt , great job Gec [emoji106]

TheFactor, as I scrolled thru this post, I got to this pic and whispered to myself, "Stunning". Then I saw that Drew had (accurately) used the same word and thought, "What am I gonna tell TheFactor about this wonderful knife?" The very next thing that came to mind was "Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout!!!" -James
