These are built in a factory that already has knife making down. I don't think they're going to say "we shouldn't build these in the same factory, that would just be wrong". "I know it would cost a lot to build a separate factory right next door, but we must do it since its the right thing to do".

Just think about it. But like I said, It's fine if people doesn't believe they could ever do such a dishonorable thing in China. None of my business what people choose to believe.

Never thought of it this way but the more I do it makes more sense that this is the case versus many separate companies pumping out a single knife model over there. :thumbdn::thumbdn::thumbdn:

It would be interesting to see what's really going on...

Really, it's neither. It's a counterfeit but simultaneously an original design with significant modifications. It's not really a clone either, as there is no identical model to compare it to.

Yes you can. It is a counterfeit. It uses the CRK logo. It is made to imitate a CRK. That is a counterfeit the folks who buy it are supporting counterfeiters and hurting the honest knife industry, CRK, Bladeforums specifically, and the knife hobby in general.

And how in the flying frog farts this crap is allowed on BFC amazes me. The name of who makes it is on the freaking pictures. Should be taken down or the photo should be edited.

I agree. ALL threads like this(clones/counterfeits) were getting moved to the GB&U last year.
I reported this thread yesterday thinking it would be moved. It wasn't, so I guess clone/counterfeits threads are now allowed in General again.
I have no idea why they stopped moving them ???
 
This thread has been reported several times already. Folks feel strongly enough so I will move it form this section over to Feedback. No one should be surprised at how the majority feels about counterfeit items, we've rehashed this over and over again several times. It's apparent some poeple like to chock rather than actually discuss, and these people also don't plan a path for their doscussion, rather a willy-nilly let's see where it goes approach won't work.
