I thought that post #14 and #16 made it pretty clear that Phil was speaking for A. G. Russell Knives.
Is there anybody here that did not know that anyone of above average strength could pry a traditional knife apart if they wanted to? The wide blade in the Coyboy-Rancher just make it easier to do so. This was the reason I used the male-female screws on the pivot of my K87 and the reinforced pin on the K93.
I am glad to see the OP come clean ablut how the knife "just came apart in his pocket" This should close the case for everyone.
