A knife for a dressy/classy/family/ event UPDATE

I would be interested as i would like to buy one. Thanks for the info on the type of knife!.. I dunno if you have to have a paid membership to get a p.m. I do not have a paid membership tho.
I sent you the link via email!

Not sure if this has already been discussed, but here it goes.

I pretty much have a knife on me (or in the car) at all times, except when I wear a suit, or am in a formal environment. In the summer I tend to go with lighter, smaller blades such as the dragonfly, techno or bm 530 . With jeans, pretty much everything goes (I can do the BM Rift, PM2, Redencion 228...anything), but with dress or suit pants, not so much.
I've tried carrying various size SAKs, but just don't like the bulky feeling in my pocket. The only knife I have, that gives me no issues in such occasions is my Omega knife (not sure if it is actually made by Omega) that came with my Omega Planet Ocean. It is very slim, has two blades, a longer one and a shorter one, very sharp, solid and smooth, classy looking and not frightening to children or general public.

I want to know what kind of knives you edc when going formal, or attending family events. Pics welcome.

My choices.....could not get just one.
These arrived today, I am very happy my decision.
Thank you all kindly for all your suggestions

That halfwhit is Fantastic looking. I love how the grain of the wood follows the shape of the knife!

Great score!

I had been giving some thought to getting a fairly nice knife for a little while now. I recently was at an event where I finally got a chance to compare a number of different William Henry models in person. So after checking out a few forums i eventually returned to my first thought and went for a William Henry knife although I did consider a mnandi for a little while.

I ordered it this weekend so I hope to have it in about a week or so. In the meantime I've enjoyed lurking here a bit and checking some things out.

Cheers

The Willamette Whittler was my first real nice knife. The #25 is another favorite of mine, as well. I had to kick my favorite #25 out of my pocket, to carry other new knives.

You picked well. Here's mine...

I have others of the same model, but those are my favorites.

Enjoy your selection and may they serve you well.
