Two great companions!

At the park/beach right know having a picnic.

These little caterpillars are raining down on us from the tree branches above.

This one walked all along the handle and without hesitation kept going on top of blade

I thought it was going to commit harakiri

When it reached the end it rappelled down on a silk strand to the grass below

The USA on the other side of the Saint Lawrence river.

Yes indeed... I let the dog walk out in front to clear the path of any rattlesnakes.

Went back to the boat storage shed today and there was Mrs. Killdeer. Snapped this picture
But then got a little to close!
The sunscreen can is so we don’t run over her nest when we pull in. If you look at the orange part of the can and move to the center of the frame you can see her three eggs. She came right at me before faking and injury and flopping off in an effort to draw me away from the nest.

Just got back from paddling along side my daughter as she does her summer training. Saw some Great Blue Herons, but didn’t get close enough for a picture.
