Oh my. Now I see this place has become Xenforo. Sigh. All the (once) great forums have been trashed by that company. Oh well, I've said my piece. I guess I'll go away now. Thanks for listening!A Gold Membership will let you post directly here…
My common sense is tingling
6 years wait and they didn’t even dye the micarta?
is the point rounded there or is that a reflection?
I spent a few hours some months ago reading about it (the actual alloy specifications and scientific tests performed on it) before requesting the change. My conclusion was: holy shit yes it is an upgrade, and stainless too!Is magnucut really an upgrade to 3V ?
No they’re manufactured in the shop. The guy built the whole shop from scratch, with some giant grinding machine thingies. I have no idea what they are but the videos on YouTube of the shop and the making of the individual knives are impressive. I had no idea how much went into making a knife like this.Aren't they just put together at their Idaho shop? If that's the case, 'Idaho Made' seems like a bit of a stretch.
Well I just saw a bunch were recently sold off in the forsale forum here, when I did a search before starting this thread, so someone is getting them. Not to worry. All the other Survive guys who got their knives too will chime in. Right?
you strangely claim to know a lot and nothing about the S!K outfit at the same time.No they’re manufactured in the shop. People tend to not sell things they think are worth keeping.Well I just saw a bunch were recently sold off in the forsale forum here, when I did a search before starting this thread, so someone is getting them.

Because I’ve been watching the videos he sends to my email every week for the last six months. There’s a ton of them on YouTube.you strangely claim to know a lot and nothing about the S!K outfit at the same time.
You don't know the name of the guy who owns the shop, but you know how his shop runs?
