Well, even without the photo, I decided to go ahead and support this endeavor, order #134. If it turns out that I prefer the RMD or SYKCO 511 or Cattaraugus 225Q or ... sheesh, didn't realize how many knives this size I already own! :p Anyway, if it doesn't suit me, I can always try to resell it and be comfortable having invested in a growing company whose owner seems deserving of our attention.

Bumping this thread again, looking forward to the GSO-4.1!

Here is a pic of our rooster doing his job, defending the hens... with a GSO-10!

I'm am excited too. I hope the preorders ship soon. It sounded like a possibility in the next week or two.

Looking forward to the GSO-4.1 and other future designs.
The choiless models really have my attention. I feel very fortunate
to be here at this time as Guy builds his business and Survive knives grow.

ordered my gso-6 last night after 3/4 of a bottle of Jack. usually feel guilt the next day after a drunken order placement but no regrets this morning! Been waiting for this for a while now.

Debating on ordering the GSO-6 or the GSO-7? I have my GSO-10 and two GSO-4s in M-390 are on preorder.

Could not decide between the GSO-6 or the GSO-7 so I orderd one of each. Will need to work more overtime to save up for the GSO folder. Gotta have that one. Guy mentioned something about 12 or 14 different GSO models coming out this year. I will have to work alott of overtime and sell a few other knives.

You know, I wasn't going to go in for the Survive! Necker, I have an Izula and am used to knives with handles, and the 6 & 7 are the wrong size for me...

But a friend encouraged me to mock up the necker out of cardboard, and after handling it for ~30 minutes I decided to take the chance. Without a handle, one won't be able to get the leverage of the Izula and similar knives for carving wood, but I think it would work quite well for small game & chickens and the odd every-day cutting task. Also, with M390's stain resistance and edge-retention, I may use this as my dedicated razor as well! But I am getting ahead of myself. Bring on the GSO-4.1!

I was wondering why you posted the pic here on the Survive! Knives thread.
I have a few svords and like L6.. but I'm unsure why it's posted here.

Oh i see !.... Well my interpretation of a survival knife is the one pictured...It is the one knife i would carry that i could rely on to do any survival task i could imagine.. FES
