... just waiting for the 10 now!!

Awesome!

I received my 5.1 Wednesday, working on a review with comparisons as I did for the GSO-4.1, but I need time on a nice day, so hopefully get something done this weekend to post next week. I thought that the 5.1 would compare well to the Swamp Rat RMD, but it is notably BIGGER, closer to the Rodent 6. Oh well. Here is a preview diagram of the comparates:

New GSO 5 in CPM 3V with G10 scales and OD green kydex. This knife feels great... very impressed.

Im right handed and i think it would been better if there was an option where to put the bow drill divot. my ring finger tends to catch the sharp corners. although i think rounding it in addition to manufacturing would be nice.

Purchased Tactical Tailor's new 'Universal Knife Sheath', designed to hold most 6" fixed blade tactical knives.
(used their the 35% off)
I put my 'Survive! knives' GSO 4.1 in it and it fit's well.
Other than the 2 inch difference, it's snug, as the kydex insert has some kind of felt (replaceable) inside that stops the
blade from moving around.

A new GSO 4.1 in M390 just went for $265 on eBay. I was thinking about picking one up for a friend, but at these prices, I think he'll just have to be happy with one from the next run of 3V.

My knife addiction and myself will shamefully admit to being in on that auction. We lost but we tried lol

I'm debating on pulling the trigger on one of the neckers but I'm not sure how well it will fit my hand. Anybody with large hands have one?

Ha, no shame in admitting I bid*—*I just didn't go anywhere close to the winning bids.

Now I see that Nutnfancy has done a dedicated review of the 5.1, so I'm sure the popularity of Survive! Knives got an even bigger bump in demand — not that Guy really needed it.

Glad Guy is getting more press but what an arrogant douche that Nutnfancy is. Luckily Guy is just fine regardless of him. I don't know how you fellas listen to him.

Yeah, I can't handle that guy, but to each their own...

Here are my modest attempts to present the GSO-5.1 via video:
