Allan Blade

So when he was promoted by Dick in Tactical Knives his history was given, when people promoted his knives in review on BB they included links to the fact that he still has outstanding debts to customers from years back and refuses to pay them?

I know nothing about Tactical knives but as far as BB goes: yes, that was covered , his debts to Joe Chen and to people who'd not received knives ordered.

Amazing.

Wish you British Bladers luck and hope that he, Blade, doesn't bite the hands trying to feed him.

But. . . .as the old saying goes when dealing with a thief like Blade. . . . ."fore-warned ~ expect foreskin". . . . or something like that. :D

Did they mention all the times he's promised he would never again take a deposit for a knife? How about the time he promised he would never again sell directly to customers, only sell to dealers on a basis of payment after delivery in the future? That was the most recent promise, recognizing that he can't even accept payment for a knife that's all ready to mail out -- even that is too much temptation for him.... It's all right here on this forum.

Thought I would check British Blades to see if anyone had posted that they had received a knife from Allan recently. Found a month old post by Allan stating that he was going to be sending out knives the next week and then more every week after that. Saw no posts from anyone that confirmed they had received one of these knives. That month old post was the last one by Allan, and in it he told of once again having another bad health problem. With all the health issues he has had, he should have been dead years ago.

I think that his family pet has health problems or died. This resulted in several slipped delivery dates. :D

As I remember that article, no I don't think Mr. Dick mentioned Allan's background, but your right he should have.

If Dick didn't know about Allan's background then enough research wasn't done. There should be some sort of responsibility on the part of magazine to make sure any maker they are writing up is ethical.

Whatever happened to his 'wife' who was handling his business affairs for him?

Guess 'she' had the same ethics as he does.

Hmmmmmm.....makes ya wonder.

I bet alan had a superb Xmas spending all that money from our friends at BB. I sure hope they all anticipated that an Alan Blade "one Month" until delivery is equivalent to one year [minimum] in real time.

Oh but wait, Alan's been very sick!!! I bet he was not sick enough to not spend all the deposit money he took so he can return it because of his health problems.

That my friends is a sucker's bet!!!!!

Haven't heard anything from Cori in a very long time. I don't even know if they are still together.

I think that it was a sham, Keith.

Allen and Cori were/ are one in the same.

Just more of his B.S.

Hi Guys
just popped into BB to see if anyone had recieved a knife yet...... the last few posts are hilarious, but one or two are still defending Mr Blade to the death.

I'd like to add something. . . .but. . . . .I'm too busy - - - ->

With Allan's past it absolutely amazes me that so many members on British Blades just seem to accept that he has actually been sick. This is an excuse that he has used more than once in the past. next he'll be telling people about his having to move and that he won't be able to make knives until he gets settled in his new shop. That's a tried a true one for him as well.

They didn't do it with Steve Corkum.....

LOL, I noticed your post didn't even make a ripple over there. I don't think the sarcasm meter jumped at all when they read it.

Yes, some of the natives seem to be getting restless! LOL! I'm not a vengeful person, but in this case I really have no sympathy for anyone over there - whether they're owed a knife or not. I simply cannot comprehend why the polite warnings from many of our seasoned BF members were rebuffed with such curtness. :(

I know that this will sound like a cold, heartless bastid. . . but. . . .a warning flare was launched. . . . .so. . . . . .tuff ka-ka. :D
