Allan Blade

Hahahahaha I did try and post link to this discussion, without comment too. Suffice to say I got no thanks at all. Even had a PM interchange with some of them but to no avail. Hence my comment"they can't say they weren't warned"

I know this is probably highly illegal but I wish we could set up a lottery based on what day/time someone posts the first *negative* comment 'over there' and send the proceeds to charity. I just can't believe how long that 'love affair' has lasted! :(

It is generally the other guys, the ones that the people who hide his behavior prevent from actually seeing the truth. How many people who are having problems now would have, if the full story was known over there without efforts to censor it.

It was removed for " consideration" then put backafter I kicked up merry h#ll, then I was told that it wasn't relevant and Mr Blade was a fine and wonderful person!!!!

People like Blade depend on actions like those moderators to allow him to keep going. If you just do a google search for "allan blade" the review I did on the MEUK turns up quickly. I put a warning in that early on, considering how this is still going on I am going to update this shortly and bold/enlarge it. There needs to be a sticky for makers of this class or better yet a page devoted to them alone.

GEEZ I didn't read the entire thread, but a lot of it. What a dirt bag. I was actually considering buying a knife from this guy a little while back! He could be still on the forums with a different name perhaps?

If, by "over there" you mean British Blades .... there have been no efforts to censor anything to do with Allan Blade. Phil, known there as "Fullplate", known here as "pmel018" posted something about this thread. One of the moderators moved it for discussion and I reinstated the post after that discussion. The post was not reinstated because Phil raised a fuss.

If people choose to order knives from Allan Blade that is their business. Some people choose to give him the benefit of the doubt, some don't. Everyone is free to come over here and read this saga if they so choose.

Also for the record,I would not have an Allen Blade knife if it was given to me.

I always try to help my friends out by infoming them on whats good and whats bad regarding things I know well. Allowing your friends do do business with this guy uninformed, is similar to allowing your friend to walk in to a speeding truck with out the least bit of warning. :thumbdn:

Hmmm... all I know is the post was removed, after heated emails it reappeared. I actually asked to be removed from BB but was told that wasn't necessary:confused: you don't seem to be able to unsubscribe. I don't contribute to BB much now, but haven't noticed anyone getting their knives.

As far as I am concerned this thread is all about Allan Blade and not about British Blades. They are a good bunch of people that may well have taken in by Allan. Maybe they will all get their knives, but things are starting to look a lot like four years ago when Allan screwed everybody around the last time.
 
Keith it is because people promote his work without the back story that allow people to keep getting ripped off and allow people like Joe to still be out money.
