I cant wait to get the ones with my BH# back on a BK9 where they belong!

Lunch! (With Becker content)

Corned beef on rye, horseradish on the top slice, spicy mustard on the bottom. Potato pancake and a Dr Browns cream soda to finish the meal... Of course I also got a bag of Garrett's popcorn in the Becker Bag.
 
I already got one on the way, paid for and just waiting, customized though so I am waiting on the one I ordered instead of grabbing a new one. You should get it though AC. You'd love it I'm sure!
 
I know I should get it!! Just trying to save $$ for Xmas gifts and whatnot right now........and yet I'm still very tempted.
 
Yea seen that last night. The yuma is the model i like the best.

Just too close to Xmas for me. If it was February and i seen it id jump all over it, even at 175 id jump on it then.

But im tapped till Feb. Got 1 more knife to pay for now, then in January Im paying for a couple things from Crimson.

So you can buy it, hold it till Feb, then sell it to me for 175 and make a profit :D

I just saw that myself, Frankly, I dont understand why hes selling it for that price. I will say he paid quite bit more for it. Hell, thats cheaper than my Maguas go for. For somebody that wants one with no wait, and a reduced price this is a hell of a deal. I dont mean to sound like a a$$hole here but I gauantee you wont get one that cheap from me. Thought about buying it myself, but that wouldnt be right, would rather somebody get a deal on it.
 
Alright i have used google, I have searched for a while now and im having NO luck,

If anyone has an idea where to get a black walnut board, 1 board, thats AT LEAST 2 feet long, 6 inches wide and 1" thick if you would please send me a link id be very grateful. Or heck if you got one yourself we might could make a trade or sell it to me.

It cant be an auction site, i dont have paypal.

Its actually for my dad, who needs it for a project but he doesnt use computers and is having a hard time finding it locally down in Florida.
 
Yeah Todd, that's a ridiculously good price. I'm surprised nobody grabbed it at $155. The Magua I got from you is one of the nicest handmade knives I own and was priced below the others I've ordered.
 
Glad you snagged it Nate. You got a helluva deal. If it was for sale a month ago or in Jan, I woulda snatched it up.

WW, where you are in PA just look in the phone book or online yellow pages for hardwood dealers. That's probably going to be in the "shorts" bin at a dozen places in the Philly area. What you want to ask for is S2S 5/4 black walnut (sanded 2 sides, 1 1/4") 5/4 sands down to an inch thick. 4/4 plain would be rough on both sides. It's native in your area, but not in FL. Probably cheaper and easier (plus quality control) to pick it up locally and mail it yourself. Might find some cut-offs for your own bead carving, too. Good luck!
 
Saw that Yuma deal yesterday. I'm very surprised it lasted that long. $135 is a steal. I was tempted, but for one, I don't need another knife, two, funds are low, and it's Christmas time, and three, I think the handle would have been too small for me anywhos. Great deal mrn8. :thumbup:

Yeah, i dont get that, but good for you, glad you got a good deal, AND, I will honor the warranty for you, AND if you get it and it needs anything sharpened or cleaned up or whatever, send it to me and I will take care of it free of charge.

Thanks man!! So all i need to ask for is S2S 5/4 black walnut?

I honestly try to get most stuff online when possible, but in this case i do want it to be a nice piece for my DAD so picking it myself would probably be better. I did call one earlier today but they had a 100ft minimum or something like that and i dont need anywhere near that much. Ill give a call to a few more places!
