Cool. I'm pretty stoked.

Me too :D

The RTAK2 is happy as hell the BK9 will be keeping it company soon!!

I think im falling in love with this recurve bow. This thing is great, I cant wait to move back down to Florida where im buying land in the woods, I will make my own 80 yard range, along with a blade sports and "chop-off" area. My father has an 80 yard range on his property, which is only a mile or 2 from the land im buying, so i could shoot everyday over there until mine is set up.

Hell i still have to clear some of that land for a home site, but dad has access to a backhoe and he has a couple chainsaws, between that and my knives clearing should be no issue!

Talked to the man this morning, who disappointed me a little when he said he was looking at a SOG fixed blade in the store. Now he has 5 or 6 bows, ranging in price from a hundred something, to over a grand.... Now he goes with quality with his bows... but was looking at a SOG. I told him to put that --- my not nice opinion went here ----- knife down and let me send him a real knife.

But a guy on a archery forum said for my first 12 shots ever with a bow, 9" group isnt that bad at all, But i have always been pretty decent with accuracy with a rifle, i know its not the same, but id never be happy with a 9" grouping shooting anything.

Depends on the range. I'd be pretty happy with a 9" grouping at a mile, for instance :) Or I'd be happy with a 9" grouping at 100 yards...with a handgun.

LMAO, yes... 9" from a mile would make me happy as well :D Shooting anything from a mile in a 9" group and id be satisfied.

9" from 30 feet wouldnt make me happy with anything.

But my father just told me im messing myself up by using plastic vanes off the shelf and using arrows/tips not meant for a 40# bow, and he kept going on LMAO He really gets into this archery stuff.

Before i got this recurve, me and him talked once a month or so, for about 10 minutes each time. Since i got it we talk a few times a week, and this morning we talked for an hour. Good stuff.

710 deserves an award for the coolest looking sheath EVER. Never have i seen something so perfect. This here is an epic setup, an unstoppable knife with an amazing sheath. Im happy as could be how this turned out!!!

Thank you 710!!

Thanks guys, Julio definitely has some wonderful talent!

Thats the best looking sheath i ever seen, and i have seen a lot of sheaths with leather, exotic skin inlays, heck even wood, but i have yet to see something this awesome.

Anyone else watching Brooklyn nine-nine? That show is crazy funny!!

Now to see if Animal practice can make me laugh like brooklyn nine-nine did

I just hate having to wait a week to see a new episode, my memory sucks, and not from pot... that prolly doesnt help the situation but its not the cause, my memory has sucked since my head injury in the army, i cant remember entire years of my life... so waiting a week for a new episode i normally have to re-watch the previous episode just to remember whats going on and that sucks. I normally wait until a season is over to start it, that way i can watch the entire season at once. But i run out of stuff thats interesting, and some shows... like Blacklist, i just dont want to wait a year to see.

But some funny shows like this brooklyn 9-9 doesnt matter if i remember the previous one or not, who cares about character plots when your laughing non stop :D

He does some nice nice work. Had a 9 and 16 sheath made recently. I couldn't be happier with them. I like my 16 rig so much that with the cold weather I started EDCing the 16....just for fun.

Hwy WW I'm really interested in that lanyard in your pictures above. Did you tie that yourself? If so, I want to learn that tie!!

Nice sheath WW, I saw JD's post on facebook and figured it was for you.

Yea buddy :D It is me!!

I love this style lanyard, but no i didnt tie it, that was made by 710 as well.. He hooked me up and threw it in with the sheaths :D

He is also doing the same sheath for me in brown for the potbelly as well, but i told him he could put that one on the back burner for now and get to it whenever. The chopweiler will be chopping my xmas tree down this year so he was awesome enough to speed that one along for me so i can use it on my last trip to the woods for the year.

Granted after i chop the XMAS tree down with the chopweiler i will use a saw and clean the bottom up some to make it sit in the stand better, but i want to use the choppy to get it down.

WW, target tip

I stuffed a milk jug with a large thick towel that I had to cut up into strips and its the only thing I can make that stops my arrows well.

Make one of those, place it in front of the box target for backdrop

Also a laundry detergent bottle about the size of the heart/lung area on a whitetail makes a nice stuffed target too..
