One of the things one of my female coworkers pointed out about the word puissant. The root word is puss... Made me crack up with what she was implying!

I have already been offered quite a bit more than i paid for the knife... And i told them there was no chance that knife ever left me. That was before the sheath.... now even in a real real hard times id sell damn near everything else i owned before i got rid of that set-up. Hell i couldnt even feel ok shipping it without insuring it for 700 bucks just in case. Double the price it was for me new..

Oh and can you PM me an email... The forums wont let me send a PM with more than a couple sentences and i got quite a few for ya :D

Since I learned the meaning of the word, I have thought/wondered the same thing as what your coworker seems to be suggesting....
On a side note, a year or two ago there was a discussion on one of the (possibly local) NPR shows about swearing/curse/"bad" words that traced the evolution of usage and I was very surprised to find out that some words that I would never use now were once commonly accepted medical terms or otherwise had common usage. Of course, it was NPR so they were trying to have a scholarly, erudite (having or showing great knowledge or learning) discussion about words that they were referring to only by their first letter.....

Well I wasn't hung over long. Took some tylenol and went back to sleep. Since I'm not tired and sleeping all the time I think the illness has run it's course. Finally. Still got a bit of a cough but I think I'm goo to go back to work.

i have heard some VERY funny conversations on NPR. What my co-worker was implying was that females hold objects of great power and influence very close "to the chest"

Doctors are still trying to determine that answer, but I'm sure the answer is going to be "He has Bladite Syndrome" unfortunately it is incurable. It doesn't seem to be spreading, thankfully.

Was reading through the Becker database stickied in this subforum. What a bunch of interesting information. I must have read it a bunch of times already but it's awesome to read up on history every single time again. I did notice that there's no info on the BK24 yet, no FFG 16 and no serrated 11. Maybe I've missed a few others, I dunno. Anyway, had a great time reading up :)

Notice all of those models are sporting beards so no one gets confused....I'm thinking that wearing those "swants" with a belt sporting a couple of 9's would keep sane people from coming anywhere near you. Maybe that's what he's after?
