Bottles are more traditional, John. And so is Coca-Cola. It's the real thing!I used to work for Pepsi.
Cans are preferred because it's easier to fill, easier to store, cheaper, and they can be transported quickly into distribution plants.
No, but could I suggest one in the camper pattern on that frame.......As a side note, has GEC ever done a caplifter secondary on a 35 frame?
Edit...
Sorry. I get riled up when people dog-pile on the BSA.
The BSA did a lot for me when I was a kid. My Dad hated the outdoors and anything associated with the outdoors; like knives, guns, camping, fishing, etc. The BSA taught me how to camp, survive, first aid, building fires, leadership, etc. The BSA also helped me raise my kids the right way. They reinforced the values and skills i was teaching them myself. I was a Scout, a Scout Leader, and a lifetime supporter of the BSA. I'm done now.![]()
I'm not sure I get the reference.but tone-deaf.
Beer Spout Knife.
Beer's Out Knife.
Beer Lout Knife.
Beer Route Knife.
Beer Trout Knife (with scaler on back of opener).
Stout Knife. (I prefer porters and stouts.)
They're all pure poetry, eh?

Bottles are more traditional, John. And so is Coca-Cola. It's the real thing! With cane sugar, of course. That's why I get the ones from Mexico.

Oh, I LOVE Dr. Pepper! Second favorite soda. I believe the ones from Dublin, Texas are still made with cane sugar. (Third favorite is Big Red.)Vince, how do you feel about Dr. Pepper? (I know you’re a native Texan, but I don’t want to make any assumptions.) Wasn’t there a bottling co. in Texas that, up until recently, was still making Dr. Pepper with real sugar?
Is that one yours? I knew it belonged to someone here. I saved the picture because I liked it so much.
If you're asking about the pic, that's JohnDF's. But I think I've posted pics of Mexican Coke in other threads. Is that one yours? I knew it belonged to someone here. I saved the picture because I liked it so much.
