Well let's hope no one tells Chris Reeve about your theory. All the Umnumzaan's will have to be recalled...![]()
You're saying that 6Al4V is harder than heat treated CPM S30V?![]()
I also would like to get one. Though I am in favor of the clip as it is.
BTW, if the 207 grams weight is correct, first page, then that would convert to 7.3 ounces.
As described that was what I was thinking also. It fits the name if the "Rotolock" has to be manually rotated to contact the lockbar and hold it in place. It looks like the lockbar stabilizer can be screwed down locking the frame lock in, so it basically becomes a fixed blade.
I have to agree. It is a beautiful knife with some really smart and purposeful design aspects, but those holes really detract from the overall aesthetic.. . . if the holes along the back of the handle could be done away with.

Shouldn't this be in the "makers for sale" sub-forum?
That's strange. I looked all over and didn't find any mention of Rick. Heck, the Kershaw webpage doesn't even mention the stabilizer being part of the knife. I guess since he is pursuing a patent is why he hasn't told us too much about it. I would imagine he won't get his patent if it is the same thing as the Hinderer stabilizer. The fact that it looks like it rotates definitely seems to point towards another function.
If I'm not mistaken you are the same fellow for the Nexus knives? Awesome design there too!
