Sorry for the double post, but wanted you guys (and possibly gals) to know that I was the buyer of one of Andy's "slightly used" machetes.

Well it arrived about ten minutes ago What a beauty! She is near perfect and sharp as a razor. Mahogany scales are gorgeous! She's a beast!!

For those of you who are eagerly awaiting your own Fiddleback Forge Machete; you will definitely NOT be disappointed!! :D

I love the 16". There's just something so right about the mass distribution and hang of the blade. :cool:

Passaround!! I want in on that. I've got a bunch of overgrowth at my place because I was gone for 5 months working overseas. Unless I get on with another band, I'm gonna be around Austin until June. I see some bushwhacking in my future.

Hi Andy, It was great to see your blades and the fact that you are not a mass produced commercial shop. I am sure I am in the same boat as a lot of people who are eagerly salivating over the thought of getting one (or more of your machete's and other knives). The pics were a good reminder it takes time to get something right and I should just hunker down till I get mine. I am telling that to myself so my greedy knife itch can hear it :D
 
Lord, if there are ANY 12 inchers with ANY handle material available, I'll buy one! I know, I know, no lists! :)

Yesterday I got in 9 sheets of micarta. Dylan is going to start pumping these out as well as myself, so they'll start to be available more and more. I've got passarounds to do on many forums. At least half of these will go to those. As to the other five, they'll need to go to active posters in the WSS forums across the net so that pictures get posted at a FAST rate!
 
Well, heck, if I'd known that was a prerequisite I woulda run my post count over there through the roof over the last couple weeks! I can take and post pics, and anyway, Mistwalker already has his 12 incher! :)
