I spent 1.5 hours building a shelter I had no intention of sleeping in. If I was going to really stay in one for a while it would be built up substantially more that what you see. That is why I said that I didn't need the luck.


Let's get back on topic before this messes up a good thread.

Well, it took a little time but I built this little shelter with my RC6. Its nice, warm, soft, inviting and very comfortable! Ok, enough talk, I'm going to crawl in my shelter now:D
 
:D HEY what happened to my shelter??? That took along time, it had a great floor and beautiful ceiling :D

:D Upon further inspection,I noticed the para cord looked loose and Shelter looks drafty..YOU need to fill in the Cracks & Crevices with some insulating material if you plan to stay in that shelter long ...

My thoughts exactly. If you have an RC-6 put that puppy to work! Just over a week left and we need some more entries :)
 
Sorry John, 4's a crowd ! In the picture you can see it lacked plumbing, but once I got in there, that was taken care of! :D

Well it looks like there is going to be no competition for the leather sheath and the RC-6 that we were going to send to accompany the sheath. ;)
 
You just never know about this forum. We just take a notion every so often to raise the stakes and give things away when no one even knows it. Always remember, that we like to see our knives work. And when people make our knives work and post pictures we sometimes like to send out free stuff ;)
 
I have every intention of taking on this challenge. 3 kids makes things a little difficult sometimes to even go to the bathroom when I need to is impossible! I'll be on this task on monday!

If you have to have an RC-6 to enter the contest and the sheath is for the rc-6 you use, then getting another rc-6 doesn't make much sense. Why not give away something else like an rc-3 or 4 or 5 or maybe a survival kit? Just a suggestion...
 
How many pairs of jeans do you own? If you have 1 pair why would you need another pair? Because 2 are obviously cooler then 1!

That almost sound like complaining about all the free stuff being given away. Did hell freeze over this weekend?
