Another Giveaway Contest!

I would have expected at least 5 or 10 shelters by now. WTF guys.

This thread, and basicaly all threads in the RAT Cutlery section have prompted my to buy a RAT knife. I will have one before june is over. You guys at rat have a bad ass company. Keep up these competitions and sooner or later I will be in the running.
 
We will always have competitions and give-aways going on. Don't see that ever ending.
 
I'm in the woods right now. Mr is watching over the bitching kids. Don't know what's more annoying this frigging fly that won't leave me alone or hearing 'mommy can we go home yet' from the truck. Shut up and eat your snacks! Lol

Well it sounds like Shotgunner is pretty upset, maybe you should swing through a McDonalds and pick him up a happy meal.
 
smcclown or Jeff will need to step up and help me Judge this contest as Shotgunners wife is in the Mix and to keep contest fair someone let me know who's gonna help me Judge...
Since the contest ends on the 14th. I dont have internet access over the weekend ,I will need to confirm with Stand in Judge Monday 15th. Hope that is not a problem.
 
I'm not in the running nor do I have any family members in the running so if you need some help I wouldn't mind giving you my opinion on it, I will be at the beach though so there is a chance that the hotel may not have WiFi., :D but hopefully it wont come to that and you could always run a poll for two or three days.
 
hwpaintballer, thanks for stepping up and volunteering. And since Jeff is providing half of the giveaway his input would be great. I have no problem waiting until the following Tuesday or Wednesday to announce a winner (although all entries must still be in by Sunday). I'm sure the contestant(s) won't mind a couple of extra days worth of anxiety :)

lol that was a looooooooong day! 3 hours after i started i finally finished my shelter.

started out by scavenging for anything i thought might be useful later.

i pulled the first rope out of the tree. then used it to tie the RC6 to the misc pvc pipe i found out there. i then cut down the other piece of rope. yes that is "leftovers" from an MRE someone left out there. NO I did not eat it.

Next I was off to chop down the ridge pole. Once I cut it down I had to drag it to where i wanted it. I used the rope i scavenged to tie it to the tree.

:D Looking at that makes me glad I just went for a short hike today, its Monday I don't start working that hard until at least Wed. That rope you scavenged looks like it came in handy..... which gives me an idea for a 2k post giveaway.
 
whew yeah hw. i'm done for the week! lol the Mr. made dinner for everyone. i would have just ordered out! I <3 him!
 
Awesome shelter, Mrs. Shotgunner. I like that you scavenged some man-made litter as well as natural stuff for materials.
