Here is some additional information. Holbrook's book on scout knives says BSA #1087, Cattaraugus c. 1933-1940.

Very nice Mr. Primble !!!!! Complete with the oustanding jigging and the Trails too. Missed you posting lately too. Did you get the boat ready yet ???? I will be heading to the Blade show in Janesville tomorrow with the main goal being to find another Catt-a-raw-goose !!!

Harry - the boat is at the marina now, ready for fishing. I wish you well and good fortunes at the blade show.

The dogleg Catt arrived with machine buffed blades that I toned down quite a bit. Still, the bone was uncracked and good overall condition. Strangely, the bone was dull and quite filthy.
