A new picture of my old Cattaraugus model 11849 Hunters Pride. A very sturdy 4&3/8ths" closed and 7&7/8ths" open and locked. I took it off the magnet board today and decided it needed some new pics. I think I got 6 frames before the heavens opened up in a down pour. 🌧️🌧️💦💦💦☔

Bone to be revered, what an amazing Big Knife, locking too

This knife was owned and used by the last JBF Champlin to run the company! It came in the group of Catt's that were found by his Grandson!! I can keep it or sell it for the family!! Not sure what I'm going to do. Pricing it is the issue?

I am open to what others think?

Thanks MikeIMG_3638.jpg

Looks like you have a nice shadowbox display brewing, Mike!!
Knife, Ribbon, Pin and company Check!! I'd get a letter from the relative you got these from, and display them all together!!
That said, as a mini historical collection, the group is worth a few bucks, IMO!!

Going to post this Catt jumbo jack, pretty sure I put it in "Old Knives" originally but it belongs here.

Pretty sure this is a very early knife, hammered pins, bone that I don't remember seeing on a Catt, straight line tang stamp on main, no pattern number. Still has faint banner etch on main, large stout jack that still has great snap.

Some fine additions to the Catt thread ! 😍

I think you're right John ............. a very early Catt jack, IMO.

I would bet that dogleg jack is knocking the side out of a hundred years old, as well.😍
