Ohh man Primble - your only Utica? I could look for something else to bond with :barf::eek::D

You would not want that old beat up Utica - it has too many flaws and a mark side bone crack!! ;)

At least you did not say P-P-P-P- Pillbuster!:D You can look in my Boker old knife display cabinet, but, no looking in the Primble cabinet. :grumpy::D

Just wanted to add a little something.

You certainly did my friend.;):D

I will most likely change the thread title after the weekend to : Antique Cattaraugus knives and company history. ;)

Really nice and informative Thread here Primble matey - and beautiful knives!!!

I am anxious to see what you come up with for your display cabinet! If your earlier displays are any indication, it will be top notch!

Some more Catt history links I found which have lots of good info:

Thank you Dan, Mark, Duncan, and Phil. Phil, the links are nice - thank you for them. ;):)

Very nice Cheetah kitty Phil.:D

I'm really surprised Sarah hasn't shown up yet in this thread. If I know her, she will have pictures of Catts ON Cats.

Maybe you have to mention her three times before she is summoned? Pertinux. Pertinux! PERTINUX!

Cats rarely come when you call them - they come when they want to. :D

A mass of interesting historical details here, adverts catalogues, cats/Catts old and older. Many thanks for posting everybody.

Regards, Will

Fantastic thread Primble! Here's a big 'ol jack that I've posted before, plus one of the varmints who call this place home :D

Nice one ea42!

Loving the catts and the cats. I'll have to head over to my Daughters house to see if her cats will hold still for some knife pics.

Now that should be interesting.:confused::D

WOW - beautiful Catt and Cat. My kitty is emailing your kitty as we speak!!:D (just kidding, of course)

The Catts are coming out of the wood work. :D That is wonderful lighting and photo of the furry Cat.

Well, I have to say that my Daughter's cats are not very well behaved! This is the best I could do. They we're not at all receptive to the idea of posing with this Catt. They were a little suspicious of it.

No....they did not "spin it". They chucked it right onto the rock hard Linoleum floor! If/when this newlywed Daughter gives me grandchildren, they better be more well behaved than those darn cats!
Anyway, no catts or cats were harmed in the photo session.:D:o

Cats will be cats. I thought that photo looked quite risky. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

The bone Swell End Jack knife, which I purchased from an antique dealer, arrived today too. It is 3.25 inches closed.

There is a faint etch on the blade that says "The Reading Railroad", which went bankrupt in 1971. The last four letters are too hard to make out, so I gave it my best guess.;):D
