Any Adamas lovers?

EDIT: @ keyman, I took one side off and measured it with my caliper. It is .189 at it's thickest, close enough to 3/16.
EDIT AGAIN: @ keyman, That 710 with the blue CF is super hot!

Thanks for the measurement blame it on god.
Thanks again.....the Blue is my Fav!
It's super clean looking with the mirrored liners and the holes.

Just got mine in the mail. I love it, kinda heavy as others have said, but it feels really sturdy and solid in hand. I like the feel better without the pocket clip attached, but put it back on as I don't want to use the pouch it came with.

Love my Adamas! Its been in my pocket since I got it, and so far nothings taken its place. I liked it so much I got the fixed blade version, and will probably get the all black and auto versions as well! Its a helluva knife!

I really like the design of this knife. May have to put the fixedblade version on my list.

Its a nice blade! I'm not too sure about the serrations on the spine, but they don't hinder performance in anyway, and would probably be useful in a combat situation. The cord wrapping isn't ideal IMO, but its not uncomfortable either. It helps keep the weight down and keeps it thin too. Although, I plan on getting a set of scales made for it soon.

I hear a lot of people say that it's to big to carry and I never believed it until my dad said it and then we compared hand sizes and mine were much larger .

point of the story being is I'm 6 foot 5 inches tall which is probably why I can carry it comfortably but another thing being is that since ive started EDCing knives they have all been on the larger side but again that could also be because of my height and size

After speaking to a few Vietnam vets, Certain types of serrations can make a knife very difficult to pull out of someone. Not good in combat.

Never thought about that. Good point, but I still think it'd make a good utility blade in a combat setting. I don't know how often a knife is used for defense(or offense for that matter) in a combat setting, but I can't imagine its very often, at least not in a modern combat setting. I could easily be wrong though since I've never been in that arena. I'll have to ask a guy that used to be on my squad, and see what he thinks(he was in the navy and is now in one of the "stans" as a contractor). I don't personally like or even use serrations much, but I've heard a lot of people say they like them for cutting heavy rope or webbing type materials.

If had to cut webbing, seat belt or rope. No doubt I'd use the serrated blade on my Leatherman. But that knife is thick and those are going to be some HEAVY serrations. Not sure how useful they'd be. I still want one.

I have large hands as well. Size and weight really don't bother me. I'm a stickler on fitness so i'm used to carrying things much heavier (but don't neglect your cardio, people). I've found my tank for a folder, don't need another one. The fixed blade will do just fine.

You guys might want to check out the latest issue of Blade Magazine; an Adamas was field tested and drew a lot of praise in the article. Good reading!

Just subscribed(a bit late to the party, I know), so hopefully this will be my first issue!

I almost hate to say it, but the Adamas ended my Benchmade purchases. There simply is no other folding non-assisted knife that I'm interested in anymore. It is the knife that goes with me every day that is what I would call my apocalypse knife. If I found myself anywhere, on any given day, in any situation where I might need a knife, since I cannot carry any fixed blade EVERY day, that is the knife I want to have on me. ALL other fooders have taken a secondary function.
