Any news about Maher & Grosh?

I was just amused at the fact that these knives were still available at retailers (except out side the states)and someone saw them on eBay at double the price.i would think that as someone was interested in this m&g drop they would know, but I guess not always.i also understand that alot of people don't have an option to buy them or any gec knife except at exorbitant prices on the flipper market.i guess if you want it.
I think you are wrong though if you think you don't have an option. Your best option is here or a FB group and you are here, so buy a Gold Membership and stay a while... frequent the Exchange. People here let them go all the time for cost or even less to move them and liquidate some cash for a new purchase or for whatever... today's hot drop is tomorrow's NIT regular post in the Exchange for sale... for a fair price. Lots of people ship out of the US.

no your right, there are alot of folks willing to ship outside the states I have met some fine folk already, hey I don't blame anyone not wanting the hassle.i mean any reasonably price gec is getting snapped up in minutes if not seconds.i have my gec wants and believe in time I will get them.i will not pay flipper price because it ain't me.i just enjoy quality traditional slipjoints. Also I had been given a few chances only for my PayPal not to cooperate. But I'm not losing faith, wish there was one posted today, the wife said to find and buy for my birthday today lol.

Yeah those flippers work like they are running a business buying from a retailer... and they have no guarantee when the retailer is going to be out of stock, but it is a safe bet GECS sell out in a day... it was just wrong here.

Gotta do some deep reverse psychological underground deep fake gec drop, called operation flipper flop.setup to flop the most ardent flipper.

Last night, the damned 86 fatigue led me to order a Cocobolo/Federal even though I've already got a Jigged Bone/Spear on the way.

Although this long-term availability is not working out very well for my bank account - wretched flippers receiving their comeuppance is a definite positive in my book. 🤷

And it is the reason man invented a non cast iron frying pan.

They didn't count on the fatigue.
86 Fatigue - there are a lot of them (and recent releases) at this point. Also the price is close to the price they would be resold at normally - at least for something like a nice Angus Jack. I just saw some CC Riders go from a collector liquidating a few for $250. $230 shipped is high for some people, but M&G's are tough to score on the secondary market in general. Better to buy them direct in my opinion. Sometimes people just do not have the funds freed or are way more responsible than me. Those things are like crack to me, hahahahah.

Yes, I blame my addictive personality and complete lack of self control.

Phrases such as "You only live once 💀," "It's ONLY money 💸," and "I'm stimulating the economy! 🇺🇲" make frequent cameos throughout my daily thoughts. 😭😂

I am being a bit sarcastic.

That being said the 86 has been run 3 times in the last 5 years. With many knives and variants produced.

Now M&G historically has not sold out fast. Most runs are available for days and months after release. Mostly due to the premium price and the fact that many in the hobby don't know about them. The exception being the 35 trapper run, and it was still available for a couple of hours and not minutes like other drops.

If I had known about the M&G run before I purchased the smooth bone rider I would have made different purchasing decisions myself. Both knives are beauties so it's no loss for me. I hope everyone enjoys their knives.

The 86 cc rider was my other gec along with the 85 caplifter, the build quality on the ones I received from Charlie are immaculate, the heft and f&f is second to none.it is a really tough knife, but the quality is such that you want
To save it,but it is to danm nice not too use.i ordered a clip slip from an owl with a beard that will allow me to carry it in style, now my style has since changed from scruff mcgruff now that the wife does my clothes shopping, and my carrying habits have to match.
