There was a website drop today, first one since Helene. I was able to pick up the new model “Recovery”, based off the Sig Legion knife.

Yea i’m good. When i got some knife money i drive up and if i see something i really like (like just about anything they make) i buy it. If i don’t see anything i still have a great time chatting with Bruce and his lovely wife Heather.

The shop did an impressive job with these. My understanding is they took some leftover blanks from the Sig Legion Operator and fashioned 27 or so of these special editions. It has a leather Desantis sheath like the regular operator. Very cool and I was lucky to score one.

My first winkler is due to arrive Monday, I got the one I thought I would use the most. They still had one left ,but that might not be so today. Looking for an axe, wild bill or combat, ranger,etc.,

Funny how the color makes things looks different. I was admiring the hawk and thought “wow, that’s nice,I would like to get one of those” and I have one already in savage stainless,it just wasn’t clicking with me at the moment when I seen your in black and different scales.

It's a great day to order hatchets or clean guns; we got 9" of snow mixed with ice yesterday. Here are a few pictures of my newest addition to the Winkler clan; this was a Christmas gift from my wife and kids.

up at 0600 yesterday, shoveled snow for two hours just to get the car out and the kids to school. Today, up at 0515, and shoveled for one hour. That will make anyones head funny.. looking forward to spring!
