Anybody use the tw 90 Wuertz grinder

He certainly has my attention. I'm looking forward to seeing the attachment in action.

Very cool! Especially the part where you hinted about versions for those of us with other grinders.
Please, please make one for the KMG!
 
I got one last summer and you will not regret the purchase of one of these machines. As soon as I saw one I knew it would make me a better knifemaker, that makes it a must have. Even if it didn't turn horizontal it would be the best grinder out there. I have taught all over the country and used every grinder out there, this one is the best. And Bill is right, Travis is good people.
 
Gol dang, I'm even beginning to be convinced I need one of these. Of course, that ain't gonna make it happen any time soon. One day...
 
Yeah....I told my wife, and she laughed at me. :D I guess I can start saving now and in a couple of years spring on one. Or, if the surface grinding attachment can be modified for a KMG.....

From here, it looks like it would bolt right onto a KMG toolarm.

Adapter already done. Atleast one machined by me. I'll be figuring out how many I need to run in the first batch at the blade show. Adapter for Bader and KMG is easy, I'm hopin to finish the Burr king adaptor before I leave for my flight at 3am.
 
thats it, i'm saving for one. i also want the kmg attatchment as soon as you build them. please keep us updated Travis you mad mechanical scientist!!

Great! I'm eagerly looking forward to more info and price on this for the KMG.
 
well Ive already got the green light from the "Mrs. to be" to get one of these when I get back from my deployment along with a mill, and luckily my deployment got pushed back just enough to let me go to blade :) so I cant wait to actually get to meet travis and see this grinder before I buy one. Im so pumped for blade.

Man that is one sweet machine. I leave for the blade show tomorrow cant wait to see one . I have been wanting to update my grinder .....
 
Love it. I will have one of these grinders some day. Gonna have to unload a few of my other grinders and save a bit, but it will happen someday. The wife didn't laugh as much when I brought it up the second time. And even less the third time ;) :D.

Keep making these grinders, Travis. You do amazing things!
