Anybody want to play fantasy dream build?

I stopped reading after "XM-223". My mind went straight to the already discussed idea of Hinderer firearms.

Unicorns would cry rainbows while little green guys seeking gold, being carried by flying monkeys, spash around in the multicolored awesomeness before it exists in reality, but...

3.5" XM-18 Fatty with full ti handle featuring Warren Thomas style anodizing...oh, and an Aggressor blade!

Timascus frame and scale with a damascus recurve 3 1/2" blade. When monkeys fly outta my ass!

Xm with a 4.5 inch San Mai blade, hitachi white steel core and sandwiched by s90v with Ti thumbstuds.
Bowie grind with hand rubbed grind area to 6000 grit and swedge to 80 grit. Tip of the blade is permeantly bound to diamond point fused with ironman's chest repulser beam. Handle full Thor's hammer steel with gold twill inlay and timascus standoffs. Edge sharpened but Teddy Rossevelt and pocket clip by steel flame made of adamantium. Sounds good to me!!

Mjölnir

XM-18 aged bronze ano'd lockside with matching Ti scale and standoffs and hardware. Bronze Crusader Cross clip and 3.5" recurve blade.

Huh...this threads got "legs", by that I mean a little popularity very much with a splash of fun.

I noticed this because I looked at the number of "replies" vs. views. And scanned the page of all other threads. This one is young, but "replies" are growing at a nice pace.

:D

I thought my ^^ post may slow things. ;)

Let's see, I still think MultiCam-like DLC would be sweet.

I'm not the biggest fan of painted-on tacticool camos. I'm speaking to a finish on par with existing DLC XMs, but in multi. Imagine it on a full XM texture pattern full Ti 5" Spearpoint flipper folding knife.

Mine is pretty simple: An XM-24 Spearpoint flipper all black blade with R. Hinderer stamp on the blade like a Gen 1 or Gen 2, black ti lock side, with black Ti scale but traditional Hinderer scale pattern (not frag).

How about going against the grain and go smaller?

An XM-18 1.5" keyring size in a similar ilk to the Fallkniven U4, Spyderco ladybug etc now that would be cool.

Cute, but not very practical for me. For example, the 3" XM fits my little/young nephew's small hands so well he wants it/one for himself.
I've had many and lost may ladybugs over the years. Carried one on a keychain for a bit, but it was just in the way.

All that said, it would be in the running for the coolest keychain trinket ever.

Nice fantasy idea for this thread, btw.

Fantasy idea: "Easter Egg(s)" cunningly hidden on the customs or any XM. A serial number, Rick's initials or name, the horse head logo....hidden or hidden in plain sight on the knife.

Perhaps under the scale on the non-lock (on the scale or Ti liner), located inside the Ti liner or full Ti scale visible when looking into the knife, or maybe at the back-most portion of the blade where it's only fully visible when the knife is disassembled.

It would be neat.
