Darn, you snagged my post before I could delete it for being a worthless postMore power to you for liking frame lock aesthetics, gives you many more options. But on my half, saves the old wallet
What other designs are those?
Here are three examples that have worked well for me so far. The Curtiss has an over travel stop built into the pivot, the Hinderer has one on the frame, and the Shirogorov has one integrated with the steel lock interface.

I can finally relate to the frustration lefties here must contend with! Heh.
Thx.
THE POINT:
If you like em, cool. Neither of us need argue.
I'm also kind of tired of flippers, not entirely though!I still buy them occasionally and I want a Mantra...
But there are mainly three things I don't like about flipperknives:
First is appearance. More often than not they interfere with the lines of the knife in both open and closed position and thus makes them uglier. One nightmare example is Medfords first so called flipper.
Second, They often gets in the way. Either in closed position when they snag all things close by or open - I don't always want a bloody guard on my knives.
And third: With a flipper you can't really control the opening action. Sometimes I prefer to open my knives in a slow and controlled manner. That's much more difficult with a flipper.

I prefer flippers and frame lock.
Suppose titanium gets feathers ruffled too?
Unnecessary expensive upgrades with hyped benefits: a universal trend in itself.Too expensive and the benefits are minor when they exist at all.
