the design for this knife is pretty interesting. I can't imagine it being very useful for edc, compared to the standard dropped point/mellow belly that is useful for general stuff. Where I think it would shine is for the hunters, not that I have any experience with that- the pronounced belly, the narrow width/deep finger bay behind the guard, the easy to index straight spine all scream hunting knife. Makes sense, given the company's core brand proposal.
so far as I know, there aren't many purpose built folding knives designed specifically for hunting. In fact, there are more folding knives designed for nothing in particular on the market, so I'll give props to MKC for that.
as for calling out Larrin in this thread in a negative way, and saying it's ok because other people's names/broadcasters were invoked- and that somehow that was political- is kinda dumb to be honest. As for bias, yeah I think Larrin is a hero who has done so much for knife makers and users without seeming to expect much in return. Haters gonna hate, I guess.
