Anyone like stag?

Was that Admiralty pattern issued, or was it private purchase by soldiers? That is some nice stag for a knife destined for combat!

Thanks. There is a record of the government placing an order for these knives in 1915 so I think the answer is both. This specific one does not have a military mark.
 
I want to officially go on record as someone who likes stag....A LOT! Thanks for the great posts and keep 'em comin'!
 
Here's a couple of Gerbers and a Puma that are 25 or so years old. Nice stag on all of them.

Here's an interesting knife. The stag has a great pattern;). It appears to have come from a strangely immobile deer, in the public park in Sheffield. . . .at night. . ...after a pub crawl:confused:. A struggle to the death:eek:!
