Anything goes three...The trifecta of stoopid goes on.

hiwa, where did you go to do your PAL testing? I've been meaning to do it all summer but I got busy and haven't found a place yet.

Leaving on a 5 day hiking trip tomorrow, forecast is cool and cloudy with minimal rain. Should be wicked!

I met a fellow through Albertaoutdoorsman forums. Best bet is go to your local gunshop and ask around. There's folks all over the place that do it. I paid 75$ and the form to send in you have to send another $60. I was told it takes 1-2 months. Hope I helps.:)
BTW, have a great time on your hike. Holy smokes, I wish I was going on a 5 dayer. What metal you bringin'?

Thanks a bunch hiwa! I'll be looking it up for something to get done when first semester is done

I'm going on the Juan de Fuca trail on vancouver island, so nothing really out in the boonies at all. We are doing half of it at a leisurely pace to take in scenery and then doubling back, hopefully doing it in 4 days (~44km total but planned 5 aswell incase weather holds us back).

I'm bringing my 4, izzy and a pocket knife + swiss army multitool. Sister is bringing her F1 and folder and a hatchet. (still have yet to convert this one to ESEE :D)

Bringing all our food dry and I just bought a pump this week to filter the plentiful creekwater (and iodine tabs as a backup). We have meals of oatmeal breakfasts with veggie protein, plenty o' beef jerky and driedfruit/trail mix for the day, and rice, quinoa and protein cubes for dinner.

I've been stoked about this trip for 3 months now, and it will be my first hike that lasts more than 2 days. You can rest assured I am going to document the hell out of it and have a huge picture/story thread when I return next monday/tuesday morn.

First night in tomorrow (have to leave midafternoon because of work) is a short 2km hike where we will be camping on the beach. And we will be camping on a different beach every night.

WOOOOO I'M SO PUMPED!

Looking forward to your pics Wolffbite! Watch your 6 ,take care of your sis , and get some blades dull !

( I'm impressed that she has an F1. Can't go wrong with FK's either, but maybe on an occasion, just order her a 3 or 4 from Jay's.! Instant convert :D)

For all of you keeping up on the Killstew neck saga here is what I hope the last picture of it.

Looks pretty sweet! I'm curious as to how easily you will get through airport security with that thing installed :D

You guys should all watch America's Got Talent tonight at 9pm ET. One of my friends is in the group "Fighting Gravity" and I'd really appreciate it if you voted for them. They've been working really hard and have an amazing show. Check it out!

Haha that's crazy.

School starts in 1 week... I'm off to buy books in a few days. I'm pretty nervous... I don't really know what to expect from computer engineering. I didn't research it all since it was kind of a last minute placement for me... I just know I'll be busy with 6 courses a semester :D

Just moved into my room at UBC... no roommates are here yet so I get the prime spots in the kitchen and bathroom for all my stuff :D

Also sold 2 of my textbooks... I think this means I'm ordering a junglas in the next 2-3 weeks :p
