No, this isn't a reason for any profanity in this forum. No matter how upset you are. Especially in an open forum setting. It adds nothing but heat instead of light and subverts any helpful advice given. We mollycoddle noone.

How do you go from lying thief to perfect? We have ALL screwed up, most of us not this egregiously. Why don't you pay his debt? When you're finished you can move in with him. Then you can cook his dinner and wipe his can when he's finished.

There is accountability....look at what the members have said in regards to the deal gone wrong. I value this forum and screwing it up would cost me more than a knife that I could replace.
 
The great folks here outnumber the lowlife rejects 5000 to 1. I can't fathom why a thief would get any support, on any level. Has it ever happened before? If so, I'd love a link to the thread where a fellow committed PREMEDITATED THEFT and got a free pass.

I can see why new folks wouldn't want to trade here........oh he screwed that guy, but he apologized. Please, let me send my money to somebody on BF I have never met.

Does that make any sense?
 
If I personally send Jason the money he is out will someone ban this guy?

He is a liability to the whole board.

Brandon has a point here, but I also feel his over aggressive way of making that point in the long run will not benefit anyone.
Two things; never put yourself knowingly in a position where you have to apologize, and do not fight unnecessary wars!

I seldom apologize for something I believe in, and keeping thieves off the board is an ABSOLUTELY necessary war.

It's not your war to fight, nor your place to decide. Argumentativeness/infighting will close this thread.

The only reason sogtrident7 is still here is to make apologies and restitution to the party/ies involved.
Others may state their opinion and move on.
 
I have already stated I will send Jason the funds he is owed if somebody bans this turd. No kidding, I have Paypal at the ready.

Every second he is here MAKES THE WHOLE FORUM LOOK BAD.

So as soon as sogtrident7 repays Jason, or a reasonable amount of time has passed without him doing so, he will be banned?

I certainly hope so.

Let him rebuild his character somewhere else if he can. And while I sincerely hope he can, I for one think he has burned his bridge here. It would be irresponsible to expose the good members here to a known threat like him.

Ok, without expressing any judgement on the initial post or the issues raised, I have to say this made me laugh out loud. You have a sense of humor, and hopefully that will aid you in your quest.

I'd also like to express a deep appreciation for the opportunity to witness the exchange of thoughts, feelings, and perspectives in this thread. It really illustrates the humanity present in this forum, however it turns out.
 
Well you blew that one... but for me, I believe a man ought to have a second chance. Therefor if there happens to be a future trade between us I'll trust you.

As someone else just pointed out, I don't agree with OP or what he did and I would never deal with him personally, but that was pretty funny that while Brandon was getting riled up he didn't sense any of the sarcasm being poured on by sogtrident7. I'd never trust OP with anything I own or any people I love/remotely care for, but I'd have a beer with him. As long as he stays out of arms reach of my pockets and I had a couple friends with me who had my back haha.

Imagine the wrong-doer is a close friend of yours or even your own kid, will you show him the right way and just condemn him him till no point of return.

Human makes mistake....and human learnt more from mistake rather than success....
