Apology PLEASE READ

The apologizer really just needs to shut up and pay back what he owes. His words are empty. When that is done, he can yammer on all he wants, until then just shut up and stay quiet. This will give you a drop of character in an empty pitcher. It will be a start. That is all. JT is not a racist you moron. He has been burned by junkies that he tried to help, so he has the right to talk/express his opinion, unlike yourself.

I understand the OP does not have all the funds to repay what he owes. But he's giving all this away and paying shipping on it? A nice gesture for certain, but if I were him I'd use the money paid to ship all this he's giving away to put towards what is owed. Plus, even if he can't sell it here, it surely has some value and could be sold elsewhere, to help repay what is owed. After all he owes who he ripped off, first and foremost. (plus, he could have sent it all to the wronged party and let them decide what to credit towards his debt)

Yeah that is an amazing thread. I wondered why the OP didn't eBay the stuff and send the proceeds to the the guy he stole from. I hope he gets a brainstorm like this as I'm sure he's got enough stuff to action off and make a dent in his debt. It would go a lot further to making amends than giveaways and apologies.

This is unbelieveable. I can't even be nice correctly. How I handle repayment to jaydev is mine and his buseness. I know the type of knives he collects and these aren't it. Also by the time they go on ebay, I get paid, and transfer the money I will have him paid. Also this wouldn't be a drop in the bucket towards it. So to me these items were better suited just going to people who need them. But next time I need to know what to do with my things I'll make sure I ask. I will have to tie my shoes here in a little while too can someone send a diagram or something please?

I commend the OP for his apology, and that he is making the appearance of doing right. I won't (and can't) judge the OP for anything that he has done in the past. I sincerely hope that the OP will return the money owed.

It's amazing how some can come across worse then the OP, yet can't seem to see it. Those are the ones that want to pull splinter's from everyone's eyes, while the "provebial" 2x4's remain in their own.............so is the state of the world. If they would apply that same passion toward's the elected criminal's that have been and stay in power for year's,decade's.........but I digress
I will say, that someone who can come forward and admit wrongdoing, admit personal and psychological problem's has taken a step in the right direction to find truth. If we can help this person find his way, should/could we? I think that question deserves a moment's thought at the very least.
Could MY LIFE/ YOUR LIFE stand up to public scrutiny............? I shudder at the thought,if I look at the question in a very truthful light.

Those are the ones who will cast the first stone,those are the one's with a closet full of secret's.It's the one's that everyone respect's,the one's that appear so normal and righteous, the ones that blend in so well and hide behind religious fanaticism and speak with forked tongue.............I digress yet again :) darn it!
I don't know what should be done, I can only hope the OP can find himself. I do not know the influences or struggles you have had to deal with in your life, childhood, but do know my own. I like it here and have met some good people on these forum's. Am I worthy.......perhap's not........ depending on who is the Judge. I do not agree with all the generalization's in this thread and find it Macabre however, see it everyday in the new's with label's, spin and bullchit from one group to the next. I find it a miracle we have even advanced far enough to even have a internet, with the ignorance I see on the New's everyday and this from what is supposed to be our "leader's", our financial system, our respected greedy cohort's that represent us.
I have faith the Mod's will make the right decision and the victim will hopefully, weigh in on what he think's should happen to this self admitted thief. At any rate, hopefully, he will have learned a lesson and grow form it. :)

Nobody is being self righteous. Everyone has the right to opine to sog. His first and best path is to repay jaydev and pretty much otherwise be quiet Til that is done. That is my opinion without being self righteous. If sog gets his grifter feelings hurt then he can stay off the forum.

Sog, you need to be quiet now. You're in no position to be a smart a$$ here, or to have any expectations of being treated other than like a thief at this time.

You did the apology thing which I think is an excellent step to take for a guy who was once nothing more than a total pos thieving doper. Personally, I hope you get well and stay clean. I hope people will someday give you another chance to prove your commitment to honesty and integrity. It will take quite awhile for that trust to happen from anyone here. But you do deserve another chance, not to sell, but to be a member here and to have a chance to rebuild your poor reputation.

Look, if you're going to pay the guy back, shut up about it now until it's done. Then, come back here and try to become a member of the community.

The OP should pay back what he owes and then be banned. That does everyone here a favour as he won't be tempted into doing it again.

If you didn't want other member's thoughts and opinions, then you should have paid the person you wronged back, before you came here looking for sympathy. As it is you continue to come across like an ass.
 
I just read this entire thread and you guys did nothing but harm the chances for the victim to receive payment. This kind of consistent degradation has done nothing but put the individual who made this mistake on the run. He may as well just pack up and leave town. I don't condone what he has done and I will never do any business in good faith with him but I do hope he can resolve the issues he has with Jason and within himself. We all need to just let him take care of his wrong doings and not throw in snide comments while this process is taking place. Once payment has been received then we should discuss how sog should be dealt with.

A mistake is when you ask for coffee and the waiter brings you tea, instead. What the OP did was far beyond a mistake and like I said when you rip someone off and come here looking for sympathy you damn sure had better made it right first. Then and only then will you get it perhaps. Until you make your victim whole, it's best just to expect nothing.

Someone who is capable of seeing that they have a problem is capable of fixing it and the responsibility for correcting that problem does not and should not fall on anyone else.

Where did religion come up, did I miss that? I'll cast virtual stones at thieves all day. I'll even cast real fists at them in real life and I'd expect to be treated the same way by my peers. Luckily, I am not a thief.

The OP should repair the problem, beg forgiveness of the person whom he wronged, and then work on apologizing and repairing trust.

At least we agree that the mods here generally make the right decision. It's my hope that they treat the OP like every other scammer I've seen scumming about the forum.
