Arkansas Custom Knife Show - Preview of makers and knives

That"s gonna be a sweet knife, Lin...you'll be licky if you can keep that beauty.
Here's a hunter I'll have on the table for display since it's already spoken for;)
Crummy pick that doesn't show the hamon well:( Maybe the owner can step forward and tell me what the wood is... I think it may be maple:confused:

this thread is ratcheting up my pulse rate.
Dave- holy shit! That ring setup is just what the doctor ordered! A split ring with that construction method would(will?) be insane.

Ben That hunter is nice!

Thanks guys. The Damascus pattern is just a slow twisted W pattern. Its one I like very much though.

This is by far the koolest knife Ben has made in my opinion! Please enjoy!

Way to go Ben. Love everything about this.

By the way the handle material on the hunter is Box Elder

Only a little over a week to go.

Ben,

You continue to impress! Your skills continue to grow each year and I look forward to seeing all that you will bring to the show. Very nice!

Caleb--Your skills are just as impressive. It's really refreshing to see young people these days that exhibit such skills & talent.

Thanks for sharing.

Gary

Almost looks like a collaboration. Suits the knife well. The Reaper image is great and the reaper-shaped blade is a nice touch.

For a guy like me who makes his own Damascus, all of the different steel patterns that show up each year in Little Rock is always something to look forward to.

Here's one that I had thought about entering into the Damascus competition but it found a new home today:

I won't have enough time to replace it but I'll enjoy seeing all of the rest there just as much, especially those that make you wonder "How did he do that?".
