I can relate. I've one more in the works. Hopefully I'll have it done. If so, I'll have to sell it naked as I'm sure that there won't be any sheath finished for it. :) Luckily both Paul & Kenny will be there in case anyone needs a quality sheath for a naked bowie knife.

FYI, Paul Long told me this week he is not going to make it to LR. I'm sure he can still make a sheath, just have to send it. He just finished a really nice sharkskin inlay, which he is having delivered to LR.

Very nice Don, especially that shell handled beauty on the bottom. That's the same model as the blue ivory piece of mind isn't it?
 
I'm within a half day of finishing my last for the show but it may wait until tomorrow before I finish it:

We got our first storm of the year last night which covered all from Branson to Little Rock. This should be gone by the end of the week but it looks like a good day to stay inside and relax.:)

Nothing says "I'm a manly man" like a beast of a bowie knife... and pink nail polish? Hold on a second... ;)

But seriously, the knife looks awesome and I wish I could see it in person
 
I'm still trying to figure out what that drawer is for... It's got such a mishmash of things, I'm curious what they all have in common to be put in a drawer together. I mean, I see all sorts of drill bits, a vast collection of keys, a rifle round (.223?), various pieces of stag, pink nail polish, and Idk what else...

What the heck?? Lol

But I have nail polish on my bench also... :cool:

Ha! True, I didn't really plan that photo out too well. It's a .300 wthby mag shell. It's kinda my shop junk drawer.
I use the nail polish to resist acid etch in the slot of wrought iron or damascus guards...not to look pretty...I promise.
Caleb is working on a couple of pics for the show including this one. Better pic coming soon.
