Yeah, it's a song about listening to music. Far out, man. Groovy.
Still don't need hover technology to go one their magic carpet ride...
Looks like fun, trade. I have never shot a .17. What sort of range have you got out of that thing?
On an unrelated note, in the not too distant future I will be the proud owner of an M-18.![]()
Just watched some vids from the shot KA-BAR booth and been looking around the interwebz and man... The more I look at those Snody designs the more I like the production Boss line. I could take or leave the scale design honestly but overall the production Boss looks like it would be a good little cutter. Plus I really like the sheath design they have with them. Just kind of curious what the price is going to end up being. Then the Parangatang looks like it would be a really good machete and chopper. I have some knife fever right now lol
4140 is almost ridiculously tough, but because it has relatively little carbon, it doesn't hold an edge quite to our standards (it was never really meant to be used for cutting tools). IMHO you're much better off with 1095CV for knife blades, even big honkin' ones. I'm sure it would be fine for an inexpensive beater 'hawk, though. See also, 1055.
Yup, 3V is my huckleberry these days, but then, most of my stuff is at least 2 feet OAL. I've got 3 36" OAL blades in the next batch, which included a couple blades for WW. Got the rest of the steel inside for sketching designs upon...
That being said, I'm interested to see how 4V is going to pan out. As soon as I'm sure that Peters can handle it as well as they handle 3V, and can source some, I'll be all over that.
Anybody know how to reverse rotation of a Dayton pump motor? Model #9k512 I can't seem to find anything on it on the web..
Brady looked like he still had the flu.
He sure did.
