Thanks for the help guys. I called my ISP and got in their ass. It was a DNS problem and it's fixed now. Damn that was just plain weird.

Wow, what the hell. Good to see you got it fixed. Crap like that drives me crazy.

This is from Facebook too trade. Last one was from Flickr.

HAHAHAHAHA! So true.. I left the house at 5:30 this morning to get to the gym... hour and twenty minutes later I made it.. usually takes about 25 minutes.. People doing 15 mph in the fast lane... then they made all traffic exit the highway because of one bridge that the cops were driving back and forth over with no problems... I did hit one bridge that the de-icer truck couldn't make up so I exited there.. People drive like complete idiots down here anyway.. ice just makes it super stupid.

You can reprogram your router to use a different DNS server than your ISP's; I have Google's DNS servers programmed into mine: 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.8.4
Look here: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/ Sounds like you have the computer skills to do this.

woah, what is THAT?!?

That's my front step and flower bed.

Oh, you mean the knife? :p Custom camp knife in 3V with stabilized spalted maple and corby bolts hidden under mosaic pins, and a matching firesteel. Came out pretty decent, I think.

I got that package today, thank you :)

Yay! There were lots of REALLY BIG ones, but figured I'd see what shipping was before committing to throwing a couple more pounds of steel into the mail.

Thanks to The Warriors picture thread at Shawnee, i purchased an emberlit stove which just came in the mail today. Sweeeeeet!

I'll have to post a picture of it. I probably won't be able to fire it up until tomorrow, gonna try and hit a local hike and I'll bring it along to cook my lunch.

Haha, glad I could help. :D Freakin' sweet stove man, you're gonna love it.

I got in on a deal to in another subforum. Emberlit ti order placed, thanks!
Haha, alright! Man, no kidding, I was so impressed with this little thing. I like, and appreciate a well thought out product.

I talked to a guy in Pennsylvania tonight on the phone and he told me an interesting story. His neighbor shot his cat but it made it home and he took it to the vet to try to save it. While the vet was working on the cat he (mad as hell) was in the waiting room and said out loud "I aught to blow the bastards house up." Twenty minutes later the cops and a car load of suits rolled in and took him down town for six hours of grilling. Terroristic threatening.

who? the cops? yeah.

the cops also probably didn't do anything about the neighbor discharging a weapon, hunting without a permit, etc

Thanks Dubz. Nothing showing.

Flickr anybody?

try with a different browser? if that works...

go back to the bad one. clear cache, cookies, and ... well everything except saved passwords...

try again? no?

you might also have to deinstall the browswer, and start over

i seem to recall also that sometimes various temp folders "got full". you might need to also try a system wide "cache cleaner" for the computer itself - there's a couple freebies for that iirc.

i got a cool thing almost delivered today

stupid mailman left a note in the box, for a packing signing. didn't come up to the house, and i was home. now THAT's annoying.

i have to wait until tomorrow, and go get it myself, in a potential snow storm :P

USPS priority my assets, buncha thugs

paid extra for priority. might as well have just gone out to a store myself ;)

I just ordered one of these for the upcoming season. It only weighs three pounds. Ten inch aluminum dutch oven.

The Emberlit guy was at Blade, seemed really passionate about stoves, weirdo. Really though, he was really into the science behind it.

Nice. I'm sure you will like it, however, I will throw this out there. Be mindful with the aluminum because the temperature is slightly more difficult to control than cast iron. The heat from the coals on cast iron spreads out evenly throughout the whole oven, whereas the aluminum tends to focus heat just in the area being heated. There is a tendency for food to be burnt on the bottom/top and still be raw/uncooked in the middle. You may want to practice with it some. Also, you probably know what you are doing with it already, so you can ignore this if you please. I'm just saying this for others who may not know.
