Pack Rat S30V DP 112's are hard to find either brass or nickel silver. I haven't actually counted the number of LE's/runs with that blade but I bet it's less than a dozen. And that's pre 2014 or so. Since then I've seen a few more runs but even now it's not like you can look on Ebay or some of the big retail knife stores and find one in stock. I thought I had a half dozen or so in the collection..Nope.

Both the Brass and Silver/Nickel in 420HC have no nail nick....a feature I like.

Great knife either way, can't really go wrong.

There's not a bad choice to be made here. The BCCI discount certainly helps, but even at full price these feel like far more expensive knives.

That Nickel looks so classy. I've never been a real fan of brass. I really wish the custom shop would offer the drop point in S30V. I'd be all over a custom jobber with elk handles.

I was just in the customizer today, and S30V drop point is a blade option for the 110. (If you want it on the 112, you're out of luck.)

I was just kind of messing with Bucksway... I figured he would know what the two I have are.

I actually yesterday went to look and see if any were left yesterday..I could not find them so I guess the runs sold out. I still have a few Customs I would like to have done since I have searched for so many years for nickel silver drop points but other odd Bucks hold more interest for me now. Now if a drop point DAMASCUS 112 ever shows up I will probably hurt my arm reaching for my wallet.

No problems with mine, my 110 S30V is just about perfect.

Thanks for the reply. I currently have 3 110s of mine in fur warranty work. Tracking shows it was delivered in post falls on March 30th. I haven’t received any emails from buck yet but I hope they are in good hands.

Ordered the s30v 110 this afternoon. Will probably be here by Friday since I’m in Washington. Very excited. I have a Danny Collection 110 and it’s flawless. This will comply that well.

Has anyone called to see if one can make a custom 112 drop point s30v? I know it is not on the list but maybe. I tried calling today but they must have left early. Called at 3:10 pst, no one answered.
