This will be only my 2nd fixed blade Buck after a 117 Brahma. So, it's a nice addition for me.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
Ditto...the Larrin is compact but nice, especially with the MC!Nice! I just got the text. I'll sit this one out and consider the ebony Larrin as my BOTM for August, and save myself some money. Looking forward to the photos though!![]()
Is that the first lanyard hole on a 101? Sharp looking knife.
I actually prefer the clip point of the 117 over this offering.Hmmm. I like it a lot. Price isn't decent for what you're getting.
I'm gonna hem and haw. If it hasn't sold out by tomorrow, I'll flip a coin.
If it's gone, it's gone. I can't imagine a 110 doing anything a 117 won't do, so I'm not missing out.
Thanks for the idea. I'll have to give that a try.Got one because I want a flashy new steak knife...
Same, I’m very glad this wasn’t the one thing that would have opened my wallet: a 112 in MC!there's a lot to like on it, but I never carry my 101s and stopped collecting all the versions while back. gonna pass, but like a lot about it. drop point, new scale material, 154cm is a good overall user steel with Buck heat treatment and looks good.....just don't need it.....
I agree, I'm sure that's coming soon and I can't wait!Same, I’m very glad this wasn’t the one thing that would have opened my wallet: a 112 in MC!
Good recollection. Not a bad offering by any means. Congrats to those who've ordered one.
However, I sure would like to see Buck put on their big boy pants and put out a 124-3V/5160/MAGNA or 900 series blade. Perhaps not as a BOTM as any such knife would be well outside the $150-200.00 price tag of most monthly releases. If I recall correctly, the last custom 124 offered was in March of 21, the last Houser web blast?
they put out a 5160 124 through c&c while back. I got one in my pile. sure wouldn't mind them making it again though or in 3v.Not a bad offering by any means. Congrats to those who've ordered one.
