Cold Steel Rifleman's Hawk

Bob Tail.

Here is a restored one piece hatchet I believe was made by Vaughan. Parkerized and equipped with a new kydex sheath. Restored for a grandson of original owner.
The other one is forged by me. Not finished off much, just a head to test heat treat by. 17oz made from 4140. Also with a kydex mask- snap closure instead of the bungee on the Vaughan.

Firesteel and Hawk-had a solid week of rain-cut a chunk of fatwood-made a fuzzstick and . . .

My Winkler RnD Sayoc Tomahawk designed by one of my instructors, Tuhon Rafael Kayanan. Honored to train with him on many occasions. Gumagalang!hawk.jpgrnd hawk.jpgKev and Tuhon Raf.jpg

JS and Duas Caras axes, made in Brazil, and if it counts, two scythes forged by the same companies.

Here are my Harbor Freight Firemans hatchet and axe. Both started off as the Hatchet model. They are now AWESOME users. Steel is good, holds a really sharp edge through hard use. Needed a lot of work straight out of the store but for $20 invested on the short one, and $33 invested on the longer one, well worth it.
