Back by Popular Demand... What folder do you guys carry?

I don't know yet but S!K use to make an EDC4 in Elmax and I've heard great things about it's retention. Hit me up in a few weeks. But I LOVE the feel and design of both folders.
 
I haven't had to sharpen it yet and haven't had it long enough to really test the steel yet but I'll let you know.
 
In rotation this week, CRK Sebenza 25 with an old school CRK crater bead, paracord snake knot lanyard done in CRK fashion.

Actually I sold my Zaan on the exchange here along with my Z-Wear Strider SnG when I got my 25.

It's amazing. The 25 to me, is everything good about a Zaan put into everything good about a 21 for EDC. Leaving out the parts that suck about a Zaan like the lock bar access, o-rings and lock bar stabilizer then adding a finger grove that feels like it was designed for my hand.

I don't have any Striders anymore nor any Hinderers.

I still have some 21s because you can't get the old Raindrop pattern not the UGs and the same inlays in a 25.

So when I want a knife to work I use the 25. When I want something pretty or to do some light duty, I take a 21.
 
That's good to know and thank you for the info. I keep going back and forth on buying a higher end folder because I really don't use them, but CRK's just do something for me. Maybe I'll get a nice used one in the future so I won't be scared to use it.
 
Don't be scared to use it. The scales take on a nice patina and wear on the edges really well. They get better with use. I only have 1 I've never carried (it's a unique one that I had on order forever) and of all the ones I've sold I have never lost money. Well I have one on order now and if it comes as nice as the last one that will be two I've never used. If not I'll sell it and probably lose a little.

I highly recommend you buy a used one in good shape to try. I bet you will never go back.
 
I didn't realize how large the BM Stryker is. That just got added to my "folder to buy" list.
 
Another PM2...if that's the case I think it makes this the most popular folder in this string.
 
There's some great lookin' folders in here! I'm sure we're giving S!K some seriously conflicting ideas on what to build now folderwise :D

The pm2 is my favorite one hander. Love the Manix 2 as well, but I probably carry my endura 4, cause of work. (Its cheaper to get stolen.)
