Bad trade with gnw1209: no comm. or knife

Being ripped off sucks, hopefully he does the right thing :mad:
 
Thank you guys! I have been flooded with kind e-mails and three other members who are in the same boat I am in to the tee, even with bogus DC numbers. I am going to visit the post office tomorrow and see what if anything can be done. Thanks again guys!

Sorry to hear about that. Every dog has his day. He'll get what's coming to him at some point.
 
I don't know if this is good advice or not but ...I call most of the guys I trade with. Something about hearing their voice reassures me about their character. ( Of course once I did have a guy call me at 2:00 am EST. He said, "Sorry to call you at 11:00!)

I am so sorry about your bad trade .I had worked out a trade with gnw1209 and after he agreed to trade with me (and telling me hi was going to ship it that day) he relisted the knife for trade and when I asked him about it he said he wanted to back out when I could finally get him to respond. Also he said he was worried about sending me his knife first ,I told him that was how the first few trades for me went and I had no problem with it if they member had good feedback .He is a scammer and he lied to me I have warned others of trading with him I feel like I am to blame for not letting more people know about his fishy actions. Please let me know if you need any emails or anything to help you .

Actualy, email me your address Jeff, you single-handedly saved me from being out 200 bucks, im gona send you a blade over. Its a dfarmer custom, o1 steel, g10 handle. Had a kydex sheath with tek-lock made for it. It may not replace your becker, but at least you can look forward to recieving something this weekend....... If you want it, its yours.

OK, this really doesn't belong here but seeing as this is a RAT knife and between two RAT pack members I'll let it go.

If it gets out of hand I'll kill it.

I'm mostly keeping it open to see if we can get the other side of the story seeing as this gentleman is a regular here.

In the Good, bad and ugly thread, someone posted a link the gnw1209's webstore. It lists a phone number and several videos. It looks like he is 14 years old.

That is awefull, I have a hard time trusting to buy anything, and I have wanted to on several occassions. I feel bad for the seller but this is the reason why I dont go thru with it. Sorry to hear about your loss.
 
After seeing that vid, I'm thinking he got grounded.


He's been on today on noon, so maybe he'll come back tomorrow?
