Funny how the human brain works.
I was reading the last few posts in this thread when my thoughts sort of wandered onto a different topic.
I was thinking.....there are many reasons why folks change their name.
Could be that it their name is difficult to pronounce, or they could want to make a fresh start - leaving a painful past behind them, then again they may want to escape their sordid past and what they did...and so on.
For instance:
Vladimir Ulyanov led the Russian revolution.
Ehrich Weis became the world's greatest escape artist.
Daniel Nigro makes knives and worked for Marble's for a while.
Richard Starkey played the drums for the Beatles.
Thomas Mapother IV starred in Mission Impossible......

Interesting words from someone who supports RAT Cutlery, a couple of the most forthright guys in the industry who faced 'politics' from Ontario, who were using their name without permission and attempting to prevent them from making their own designs. But you obviously don't care if they get run out of business as long as you get yours.
I would just like to apologize & withdraw any negative feedback I issued concerning Mike Stewart & BRK&T.
I just heard from a very reliable source,that these attacks are a personal vendetta by SS.
I will proudly buy BRK&T knives after being correctly informed.

Do you honestly think that folks who have contributed to this thread in telling of their experiences with "Mike" over a long period of time...they ALL have a personal vendetta against him?

Mike himself on his own forum has not disputed any of the facts SS has statedI would just like to apologize & withdraw any negative feedback I issued concerning Mike Stewart & BRK&T.

All of that adds up to dishonorable on Mikes part in my eyes no matter what personal issues their may are may not be.
All I can say,since they don't want their name mentioned,is that they are a highly respected forumite here & they are a moderator,so they have to stay unbiased in these situations.The party I talked to has personal experience with Mike Stewart & I would take their word over all others regarding this matter.

PS All I can say about your source is they must not have much confidence in Mike as they don't want their name associated with his. As for them being a moderator other moderator have already voiced their opinions.
