I have nothing to add to this thread (beyond my first and only post to date) except to say that I am not the moderator referred to nor do I know the identity of the alleged moderator who is purportedly vindicating the accused. I will also add that if the alleged information was provided in confidence, it is a poor reflection on JTR357 that he would hint in any fashion at the individual's identity. (But then I can't say I'm too surprised at anything at the moment given what I have read by some of the posters in this thread.)

I don't know what the personal agenda would be. I know both parties and I don't know of some horrible malicious plan on either side.
I would just like to see SS get his money back and people to stop piling on Mike Stewart. There are some personal grudges being aired here that are not helpful in working out the legitimate aspects of the dispute.

But you didn't....when confronted with YEARS of direct evidence by upstanding and well-regarded members of the knife community....you chose to bring up the Mystery Moderator and state that Mike Stewart and BRK are vindicated in your eyes.

cody1 and 3G I'm with you 150%. What unit? Marine Corps Recon is not some super secret SEAL Team 6 kind of unit. They are specialized Infantry, they hold an 03 MOS, etc. I want to know what unit of Recon or at least where they're from. Otherwise I proudly raise the BS flag.

I just heard from a very reliable source,that these attacks are a personal vendetta by SS.
I will proudly buy BRK&T knives after being correctly informed.

Mike didn't even offer a plausible explaination, he didn't even make one up! Why are all the people "in the know" being so cryptic. What kind of vendetta, why? Why does mike have so many enemies? Crap happens but statistically it should even out so other makers have enemies too but I don't see that.
I like my bark river knives and I don't see what selling them would do but I am dissapointed. I am hoping steve will get his money soon, mike said it wouldn't be long.
