Forgive an old man if this has been posted in this thread before, but it is one of my favorite ones and I could not find it in the last 2 or 3 pages.
Ken Erickson MOP.

That's is one Jim Dandy of a Barlow, James.

Actually they are all wonderful Barlow's, Gents.

Here is another one, I am not sure I shared. Sorry guys, I did not mean to litter up thread with the older Ken Erickson, I went further back and found it double posted. Like I said, forgive an old man please.

You're forgiven Mr. Todd. I know how forgetful old men can be sometimes..... 'cause I-R-1-2!. :p :D

Besides if'n you're going to go a littering, Ken's Barlow's is my kind of litter.

Great looking R L Smith Barlow!

Jim that Erickson Barlow is still nice.. why don't you pass it around and let us other ole boys try it out ??

I really like that one Rob. I wonder if Ole Bill had Barlow on his mind when he came up with that pattern? P. J. sure did a good job on it...

I'm thinking this Scagel style folder by PJ Tomes has a little "Barlowish" look to it.

And it's two bladed sibling with elk antler scales and forged 52100:

Those Tomes Scagel's are just stunning. Thanks for showing guys, think i'm gonna have to give PJ a call...

Paul's Leather and PJ's Scagels sure make a great pair. congrats Elliott to you and Rob. I'm going to give P.J. a call myself. I don't think I've seen those before..

I posted these barlows in the "old knives" thread but I don't think I put them in here. (Wish the scans were better.)

Here's a traditonal barlow in all respects, an old Southington with sawcut handles.:

And a smooth bone New York Knife Co.

Some great looking knives in this thread, the Bose one looks the snappiest to my eyes :)

Almost don't want to post this lowly knife, but it's one I've been carrying a bit lately for
the dirty jobs around work, nice and tough little bugger, just over 3" closed,
I do like that the nail nicks are on the same side, saves me flipping it over.
I use the smaller blade the most, it was thicker than the main blade but I reprofiled
the edge and it cuts very nice now.
Says Imperial, made in Ireland, no bolster but it looks kinda barlowish to me.

I'm thinking of getting the Case damascus barlow, anyone have knowledge about those?

I posted this in a thread of its own but the suggestion was made to add it to our ongoing Barlow thread.
Made by Mastersmith Ray Smith. ATS-34, about 3 5/8, file work, pinched bolster, half stop, small swedge, spalted maple end grain handle.

Some beautiful knives here, but that old warm bone of Mike's knives above just sends shivers down my spine. That bone is beautiful and the only way that happens is with age.

A couple of Case Tested XX. I believe the tang stamp was used 1920-1940. So I guess these are at least 69 years old. The one pictured on the bottom in both photos I have had a while but I just got the other one. I like to carry these old ones from time to time. I think the old rascals enjoy getting out of the knife drawer and getting to go for a ride in a pocket again. Reminds them of their younger, wilder days. :D
