Made a purchase of a Boker Barlow with stag scales. It is a great knife for what I had to pay for it. I find I like the knife more than I had expected I would and it may get a good bit of pocket time.

I've posted this one on the forum before, but figure I might as well put it in here too. It's probably been my most carried slip joint since I got it. The size is just about perfect, the blades are nice and thin, and the satin finished bolsters don't show pocket wear.

That oak handle looks really nice; I like the way it darkened a bit when you used it. Looks sharp (pun intended) on both fronts.

Thanks Ed, I used my secret method of sweaty pockets and dirty hands to get it that way.:D I like your stag one as well. In fact, I probably would have picked up one of those if I wasn't looking for one with a clip blade at the time I found this one.

I think you will like it. I'm pretty pleased with that one which is my first Barlow and the only Boker I've bought in 40 years. Not that there ever was anything wrong with Boker or Barlows, I just did not buy any and mostly did not buy any of any brand for a whole lot of years.

Anyway, I like it enough that I am going to buy another Boker Barlow and a Copperhead in the near future. One of the things I liked about it is that the size is just perfect for me as an EDC and it just looks like "Let's go, I'm ready to work." if that makes any sense.

Looks great Corey! I've been looking for a "Ka-Bar-Lo" myself. I did manage to pick up another Boker in the clip blade model. I hope I like it as much as the one I already have.

ordered a rough rider jigged bone barlow...

cant wait to try it out when it arrives.

hope you guys are happy, cause my wife and wallet are not :p

I enjoyed that stag Boker so much that I had to get a clip blade version. Here it is in Grand Canyon bone and with it's stable mate:

Either I'm going to have to get a new camera or learn to use the one I've got. I don't know why it wants to go blue on me like this every so often.
