Basic Urban Survival Folder

I'm not really going to go there to start changing things at this point. Hate to be a stickler but what ya see is what ya get. I'm not sure how many locks and liner blanks I'm going to have; as they may be all spoken for at this point so I'm going to wait to add anymore to the party. If I have enough I'll put you on the list. Until I see the product I won't know.

No problem, I'm game with what's left over until this point. If possible I have in mind different colored scales, perhaps one green and another yellow on the opposite side? If it's only one color then I'll take whatever is available.

Ok well, here is the news from Dave.

The small sheets of titanium I snagged from Bobby Branton only yielded 12 locks and liners.

I've got 17 orders pending.

I've gone through and according to when folks posted that they wanted one those that made the cut for this first run of knives are:



Koyote models (Christof blades) Still waiting on the blades as of this edit date.
1) Koyote (his blade, micarta handle scales) DONE
6) Senobdec (teal canvas- w/clip 4-way mounting, w/Koyote blade w/lanyard) DONE
7) Mapper66 (black linen w low rider RH tip up and RH tip down tapped also. W/ lanyard, Koyote blade) DONE
8) Spiralarhchitect (green linen, w clip right hand tip up, w/Koyote blade) DONE


Cobbler blade models
2) FOD (assembled but left blank for him to do his own scales w/ lanyard ) DONE
3) Detour (Green linen w/ tip down low rider clip blue anodized, w/ lanyard hole)DONE

Final price on these thanks to using Dave and getting a great deal on some titanium worked out to be $135 each using Micarta handle scales with a Cobbler blade. Koyote blade models are $200 each and Koyote blade frame locks are $300 each, $275 on the textured frame locks plain jane with no jeweling or blade finish and bead blasted slab finish. Thanks guys.

EDIT: Oh yeah, you guys may want to pic through the colors listed below and tell me what you want. Unless I run out of whats here I'll try to accommodate you. I did not price those with clips but I guess I can make a standard style one only for them if you know what you want. Low riders are too hard to do to just add them in at that price. Sorry. Truth be told, I wasn't planning on clips but I did do one on mine. Oh, and for the record just so you know I also did not include anodizing or any other fancy work involved in these at this price. Normally on a regular priced folder I'll throw these things in but at this economy price I can't really afford to give much more. Hope you understand. I am attempting to still make enough to pay Dave, not take a loss on the ti, and also pay for the blades and a little bit for me and believe me its only a little bit. I think you guys will love these pocket razors once you put them to work.

Sounds good to me Steve, and that price is very reasonable. Do we have a choice on scale color?

I'm taking a quick inventory of what I have here in the way of micarta now.

I know I have brown linen, black linen, red linen, green linen and probably all those in canvas as well and also I have some teal canvas which I forgot I had and I believe I saw some stragler sheets of other colors but I really need to ascertain if there is enough there to fill the needs for this folder. I'll find out later and post.

That sounds great! Definately red with a clip (tip up if possible). Can't believe I got in on this- usually I just miss out!
 
(Kingshoc are the two I'm most concerned with because it sounded like they were pretty firm on wanting one and I hope there are no hard feelings from you guys.) There is no hard feeling from me i realize i came in late. I can wait or work something out with you. I Still would like one with Black linen with a clip tip down we can take this offline and talk with each other to find out more about it. Let me Know heres my email kingshoc at comcast dot net

I too would still like one but with mixed green and brown micarta (one on each side) and I would like to be included in any future runs.

I'm a DEFINITE in case you're wondering. Please let me know if any is coming on up or if anyone's backed out. I also don't mind waiting cause I really like your work in the first place.

Thanks Steve for doing this project. When do you want paid? M.O. , Paypal ? Can I wait to see what you have in house for the scales? But if you had anythig like Butch's Smashed Hippie or wild colors I'm good with that. No clip, it should make a great back pocket carry. Thanks Martin
 
I don't know if I'll have any 'hippie colors' for you. :D

Seriously I have to use what I have here for these because if I buy anymore stuff before starting to get some of this $ back I'll have a mastercard bill I can't pay come next bill cycle. I didn't get a full inventory of the Micarta I have in stock that is already available to me but I'll dig it up here in a bit.

I may do more later but it won't be right away. I've got other jobs ahead of these I'll have to get to and that I've been working on as I can. For now I'll have to put you on the next run tentative list.
