Bummer. Of over a dozen Busse & Kin I have, only three were ever offered in satin, and those three are satin. Back to the liquor cabinet to drown my sorrows.Absolutely!

No I haven't received the secret decoder ring yet- I don't need to send it, I can drop it off in minutes, a non-issueWhat, you never saw the super tiny fine print that mentioned you had to send the Boss a bottle of JWB to get on "the list"?This is top secret Hog insider info, you didn't hear this from me...

I thought the same thing. $400 is an awfully lot for an SR101 blade, even one the size of the battle saw. I've bought the originals on the sales forum for a hair more than that. I'd expect this to be priced in the mid $300's. I LOVE the battle saw, it is one of my favorite Busse blades, but this does seem to be higher priced than it should be.
I have to agree with that. It does seem like a better deal than the fbm and no one gawked at it. And it is imo almost two years after the original battle saw and 70$ cheaper. But you can't blame me for liking the deal the parang wasI agree! Those were great bargains for the consumer.Unfortunately, mainly due to too much drinking, many of the knives from OP2W part 1 were underpriced from a production standpoint.
Now in 2017, the recently introduced FBM BG was announced at being $397.00 on the website and it is smaller and requires far less machining than the Battle Saw which will only be $30.00 more. We didn't hear any complaints about the price of the FBMBG.
Now that I think about it. . . The Battle Saw should cost a bit more!

Lets say you got a boom parang last time around for 267$ and then later they re-release it for 327$ then you can sell yours at a profit to someone who wants one but doesnt want to wait months plus an additional "2 weeks" to have one.
Or in the case of the battle saw if the sr101 version sells for 397$ and I have a infi one I got for just over 400$ makes sense to me that the infi version will only climb in value at least 100$ or 200$ compared to the battle grade. I hope, but the reality is that I have no intentions of selling off most my blades so I am grateful for what I have and the prices I paid.
