I could never live in one, but these tiny houses that are becoming popular are pretty cool. I could do 400-500 square feet but no way I could cram my entire life into 120 square feet. At least not without having a garage to store stuff and set up a workshop.

I could live in 120 square feet.......as long as I had a shop/garage that was about 1000 square feet.

Pretty much. I need a large shop anyway for working on my trucks and other various projects. I could do 120 square feet, plus storage for my camping gear, plus a gun vault.

I had an idea to build a large shop, almost a warehouse. Then inside build a large vault that doubles as a living room so I can have guns on display all the time. And build around that to make a small apartment. and the rest would be space to work on vehicles as well as a reloading bench and other work areas.

TBL, because of how often I have to drop for work I don't get the opportunity to partake in that kind of recreation. C'est la vie though I get to do other things that are still fun. Like cooking and camping and speeding...

Its all good :D If travels bring you to southern Ontario, I'll need to take you to some places with good food :D

currently searching kijiji for a used scissor lift :D I didn't get to build that staircase to the roof yet... It just started snowing and I hate ladders; I need something to get me up so I can clean off my solar panels.

C-Bear, forgive me. I am sure you didn't want this getting out, but how could I not?

Damn it Derek, now I have to clean the water off of my computer.......

I'll give that guy credit tho, he's got a potentially naked woman behind him (even if it looks like his sister)

A nekkid chick and a bitchin sword. Fat or not, that's a good time right there.

That's another reason I can't live in a tiny house. I'm fat as hell. And 6'2, so I hit my head and my gut on everything.

C-Bear, did you stop sharpening your knives?

Cue JT...

Also, looks like winter has shown up for a visit. We've got a freeze warning for tonight! Might actually get under 30 for a few hours! WooHoo! Maybe it will kill the mosquitos!

NOTHING kills mosquitos.....just slows them down. I did a canoe trip on the Allagash (in northern Maine) in October where we had most nights sub-freezing. I was surprised that I still had mosquito bites. The guy who gave us a ride back to our car (one way trip), when asked, said: "Mosquitos don't nevah die....just, sometimes they's worse than othahs."

Cold weather camping 22 last night. All I took pictures of was food lol

Looks delish Psyop.

Made a sheath this weekend. First attempt at sewing. It certainly shows. Oh well, I submitted anyways for the sheath contest in W&SS.

First attempt, maybe...but it looks pretty good from here. Nice. I was in the Tandy Leather store a couple days ago and had all I could do to not drop an entire paycheck in the place. Already have some stuff, need to make use of it.

great first go.
You probably need thicker thread, and it should be waxed. You can space those stitches out a tad more, and a double row of 'em would be the business.

Glad to hear it! Stay safe sir! No job is worth getting deaded over. Although some have a higher proclivity towards it.

Truth. Said something very similar to my boss last night. Had something dangerous going on with the semi that should have been fixed a week ago. Said he was fixing it, but last night when I got to work it wasn't fixed. Didn't think he was home, so I sent a few texts to him about it and took it to town to load the truck. Ended up telling him that my life wasn't worth getting some mail somewhere. He quit texting and showed up at the post office and starting yelling, threatening to send me home, etc. He's never done it before and won't do it again. I had a job offer a while back and will be conacting them to see if the offer still stands.

Dang, Derek leaves the snark for a few moons and then charges back in hard.

Thanks GSOM! Yeah Tandy's slowly turning into one of my fav places to throw money at.

Thanks Daiz; that'll all be duly noted for next time.

Geez, just cut myself with a stick (playing with my new B.O.B. carving some pine; managed to stab myself with the sharp end of the wood, lol)....last night it was a tin can. Thankfully it's not a knife - otherwise I'd most likely be hospitalized.

I'm going to hurt tomorrow - spent 4 hours or so quality time with a moderately large chainsaw this afternoon -- clearing honeysuckle, common briar, & juniper from the old fenceline so it can be repaired (replaced).
still have about 300 feet to go on this section. :(
