...The dark, reddish, “mad honey,” known as deli bal in Turkey, contains an ingredient from rhododendron nectar called guyonotoxin — a natural neurotoxin that, even in small quantities, brings on light-headedness and sometimes, hallucinations...

Sounds about right...don't try the biscuits, no matter what he says...

Well I just got done with my phone interview. I'm much less excited about the possible job than I was. It's a lot more work and responsibility for much less money.

It is what it is. I had planned on being here another year or two anyway. Get completely debt-free and get some money saved up before finding a place to settle down.

By the time I retired from the Army, I had figured out that the job interview was as much for me to decide if I wanted the job as it was for the potential employer to decide if they wanted me. That does suck hoss, but better to find out before rather than after you move.

Welp... that property we put a bid on fell threw after the inspection came back and the estimated value of the property was about 100 grand over what the current home owners we asking. We came back with current value and an as is sold with no repair work and they turned it down. They were firm on there "over priced money pit" as my fsther in law called it... there was black mold, sepic repair and a few leaks from the pipes. It sure would have been nice to get out of the family garage... well know we are still looking again.

Crappy luck JD :thumbdn: Sounds like realestate everywhere :(

Good luck on the hunt!

you know.... I think I'm getting the hand of this whole home owner thing. We raked 24 bags worth of leaves in the past few weeks, just had the thermostat replaced (still didn't fix our heat problem - must be a relay stuck somewhere else in system) and the garage door spring broke. :D

At least my puppy is friggin cute.

Well, that sucks to hear. Granted, it'd be better than finding out it'll be a lot more work and responsibility for much less money AFTER you accept the gig move back out that way. Keep on grinding away and you'll come across something better.

That sucks to hear too! I'm confident you'll find a sweet ass 710 shop. It just obviously isn't that one. Best of luck on the search though.

YES, interviews are for both parties!

You think it's looks cute but to me it looks guilty. Like ... damn, caught me humpin the couch again!

More like guilty for taking one single, but large bite from a roll of paper towels and I have to try to unroll them to the point that the paper towels stop looking like donuts.

That's really close to my "yeah I got caught humping the couch, but can I get a hand?" look. It has a 1% success rate

Thanks guys, we will be kooking at a few houses this weekend, it just won't have the room for a shop, I'll still be in the garage.

So, I made my final steel purchase until Blade this weekend. Now comes the saving up to party part of the year. :( However I do believe I made a hell of a final purchase.
